10,000 Volt Ghost Keep watching

cartooncart I've enjoyed it so far but I really enjoy the feels of the original. This one seems a bit too generic and the character development is a bit slow. So far, the third and fourth episodes have disappointed me. I'm unsure whether I really want to continue watching the show.

Pram Maven I loved this show when I was a kid. Used to try to make the Lair out of wood scraps. When my family went to the beach, I'd sculpt it out of sand. Great, positive memory.

Pentegarn That is surprisingly apt, and I am shocked i didn't see it myself

10,000 Volt Ghost I finally got around to watching this last night. Love it but I've only seen the first episode so far. The art style is really impressive, its like watching a Breath of Fire IV show.

k0k0 The first two episodes were pretty great, but I found the third lacking. We'll see how the show holds up.

Pentegarn My GF and I watched it. She wants more talking Snarf while I feel the amount of talking Snarf is exactly right. I like the story so far though.

I've got the inside scoop on this, stand back.

k0k0 It wasn't as bad as I thought it would be. They handled everything pretty seriously and it did it for me. I shall be downloading new episodes as they come on.

10,000 Volt Ghost I owe my regular child at least.

Pentegarn I got it stored on DVR and will probably watch it tomorrow, I owe my inner child that much at least

k0k0 I don't like the art style of the new thundercats. I mean, it's better than the stiff looking animation of the old one, but I just don't really connect with it.

Downloading right now anyways though. We'll see how these two episodes work for me.

All Hail Duke it was pretty generic but watchable

i'll give it a few more episodes

Guitar Woman Hey, it was pretty good, faggots! It reminded me of Avatar a bit, only not quite as frantic.

I think Mumm-Ra's reveal could have been built up a bit more, but I'm glad they held off on showing his transformation right away.

Also, racism and genocide and fathering bastards. You know, for kids!

Grislygus I'll be able to happily not give a shit unless they keep/rework the original music, at which point I WOULD crawl into a dark, hidden place and geek the fuck out privately

As it is, it's like they took that one He-Man update and crossed it with a Final Fantasy X cutscene. Would have been nice if Snarf had been skinned alive as opposed to being muted

All Hail Duke it was my favorite of the 80's toons, i'll give this one a shot

Krythor I shouldn't care because I'll never actually watch it, but why does it have to look like anime? Do they do that with all American action cartoons now? It really drives me up the wall, not necessarily out of a prejudice against anime (although that is probably a factor), but because it takes all the worst elements of anime too: mouths that move one syllable, weird shitty looking frame rates, and even odd body language that's usually from a dub not properly conveying the language of the original. I stopped watching after the first minute because it made me too angry, but do they also have the weird static establishing shots that pan across to fill time? Even when I watched anime as a 13 year old the shitty animation annoyed me.

10,000 Volt Ghost I know, I want to watch that real bad. Not to sound super lame but they released thundercats themes and pics for xbox. Got me a MUMRA. Also Voltron, then SAM copied me.

Guitar Woman
Thundercats

The first two episodes of the reboot premier on Cartoon Network tonight at 8/7c, and I must say, it's looking pretty damned good.

About 9 minutes of footage has been leaked as well; my favorite part was probably Snarf not being able to talk anymore.
