Yeah, me too. I was one of the only people around who could run HL back in 1998.
I hate it when people online bitch about how slow their 70ms ping is, when I remember when a 250ms ping was "grab onto your balls because they might fly off" fast. Fucking 12-year-olds ruin every good game.

That's all fine and dandy, but one of the reasons Half-Life and all it's mods were so popular was the fact that anybody's computer could run the game.
