Nah i'm pretty confident after what I've read in several articles and saw on the news in the past few days that war with Iran will happen. PNAC will stop at nothing to succeed their agenda. I could be wrong and I hope I am. I've been mistaken several times in the past and I have no problem admitting that. Alright lets see some levee pictures... |

What information are you privy to Geggy that leads you to so certainly believe we're going to war with Iran? And Geggy, those places aren't called prison camps, they're called mental hospitals. Go to them! |

I hate the fact republicans alway have a throttlehold on the congress...fuckers... Do you think there is a connection with the FBI spying on activists to this? Cuz it's most likely we're facing a battle with Iran and anti-war activists are going to roam across the country once the battle starts. I wonder if they will be rounded up and thrown in the military jail.. |

Yeah, I think it's kind of disgusting that they took an almost Clintonesque out on this case. They know they will obe day have to address the whole issue nof what W is doing with Presidential power, the know this case would have done that, and they basically said, well, they're giving him a trial now, so we don't have to take the case yet, we don't have to take this case at all and we don't want to even look at this issue until we have no choice whatsoever. It doesn't bode well for the furture either, because the case they just heard on habeas corpus has similar outs in it. The administration is arguing that A.) Congress has the right to tell the Supreme court it doesn't have the right to hear certain cases, and B.) That same law INADVERTANTLY takes away cases currently on the court docket. Both arguments are pure legal sophistry, but they are an out for a court that doesn't want to confront an ugly constitutional crisis. |

Hey guys we're screwed :lol WASHINGTON (Reuters) - A divided Supreme Court declined on Monday to decide whether President George W. Bush has the power in the war on terrorism to order American citizens captured in the United States held in military jails without any criminal charges or a trial. http://go.reuters.com/newsArticle.jh...rc=ActiveBuddy Holy fuck...so that's what the US detention camps are for... |
