Let me preferace this by saying I don't want this to seem like some kind of international dick swinging. People need the help and everyone should be focused on that first and foremost. I am merely answering criticisms of my government and country. People got pissy because they felt that the intital hard cash of tax payer money was too small. They neglected the fact that it was the money the government could muster at that very moment. And the actual materials we are sending. And the continued cash we are setting up. And the Marine Expeditionay Force that is there aiding the victims. And the USN carrier group. And the private donations that are flowing out. There is no official government group that is slamming the government. Just a bunch of media and other assorted dipshits that don't understand that we don't just blink and make money appear like we're Barbara fucking Eden or something. Oh, and cash isn't something I have in abundance at the moment. Does anyone know if blood donations are being accepted? Some of it might even be mine. |

What do you think about that comment that was made about the US being "stingy" in regards to the 15 mil they sent to the Asia Tsumani victims? Read this as well. |

Oh great, a country run by the mayor from Jaws I'm glad that hundreds of thousands are dead instead, that's WAY better for tourism. |

100,000 and still climbing. And they say a small percentage of the deaths might have been avoided too. But they were afraid of impacting tourism if they sounded the alarm. "More terrifying still is the growing realization— reported sporadically in South Asia and Europe but almost unmentioned here— that some percentage of these deaths could have been prevented by timely warnings, but were not, out of fear of damaging tourism. Bangkok's newspaper The Nation reported that Thailand's Meteorological Department, which supervises the country’s Seismological Department, was conducting a seminar at the hour the earthquake struck, Sunday morning, prevailing local time. Told the initial Richter Scale measurement was 8.2, a leading member of that department reportedly concluded there would be no tsunami, because another 2002 earthquake in the same Sumatra region that had measured 7.6 had produced no tsunami. The meeting devolved into the pros and cons of hurting the nation’s huge tourist economy in the event a warning proved unnecessary." http://www.msnbc.msn.com/id/6210240/ More videos: http://
<a href="http://www.p...x/3537.WVX http://www.moose.cc/tmp/ts/patong_beach.wmv http://www.moose.cc/tmp/ts/sri_lanka_tsunami.wmv |

http://www.msnbc.msn.com/id/6762528/site/newsweek/ How You Can Help A partial list of agencies accepting donations to aid tsunami victims in south AsiaNewsweek Updated: 1:33 p.m. ET Dec. 28, 2004Most aid agencies agree that cash donations are the best way to show compassion in the wake of an international tragedy. Although many people share the impulse to send canned food, clothing and other material goods, giving money is often the most efficient and expedient means to help. For more information, consult the nonprofit umbrella group InterAction’s guide to giving and the Federal Emergency Management Agency’s list of pointers on donating. The following is a partial list of organizations accepting donations to aid those most affected by the devastating tsunami that struck southern Asia on Sunday, killing at least 33,000 and displacing more than a million people in six countries. GWB's response is positively sickening. His lack of sensitivity and attention towards the disaster really shows you how low the creature really is. On the other hand, it's nice to see prominent sites like Google and Yahoo putting up links to relief agencies on their homepages. |

Yeah, grown men were the majority of the survivors because they were strong enough to hold on to trees and stuff. There's no way the death count is stopping at 50,000 |
