Zbu Manowar | Maybe I should try the original Swedish version as well. Is Metal Hurlant still being published? |

Skulhedface | For the art, yea, I'd say it's worth the $20. I wouldn't be completely enthusiastic about it, but it's not a waste, either. |

Zbu Manowar | I'd be getting it mainly for the art. Maybe 85% for art and 5% for stories. The rest just to see something new, I suppose. |

Skulhedface | If you're going to splurge on a general- humor- with- small- comics magazine, you're better off sticking to MAD. Heavy Metal is a mixed bag at BEST. Although the art often kick ass. But are you getting a subscription for something to read, or for some good comic-style drawings and paintings? The stories in Heavy Metal always seemed lacking (although I did like the FIRST movie) |

Any opinions on Heavy Metal magazine? I got a few issues years ago because the covers interested me, but the price and the fact I wasn't really into comics at the time didn't lead me to get any more. Now, I notice they're having a deal on subscription rates ($20 or so for a year and $10 per year afterwards and shit)....should I splurge? Does anybody read the magazine? |
