Immortal Goat | Well, see, thats my problem. I don't have a good comic shop. I live in Ohio, the most boring state in the country. The best thing we have is a tiny card shop that doesn't even deal in Magic: the Gathering cards.

Grazzt | You can find anything in a good comic shop.

Immortal Goat | Listen, Grazzt, I thought that they were hard to find, so I figured they wouldn't be in comic shops. Isn't that a possible reason for my asking?

Grazzt | I was providing the common sense answer for your dumb ass.

Immortal Goat | Oh, ok, I was under the impression that the comics were extremely rare and expensive. I'm going to the nearest comic shop tomorrow to look for them. Thanks. And Grazzt, just shut up.

Protoclown | Uhhh...the comics are collected in a trade paperback, that you should be able to find in any comic book store and most regular book stores. Never been hard to find.

Grazzt | Why bothering asking questions you know the answers to? Try a comic store, dummy.

Immortal Goat | Do you mean to tell me, Protoclown, that you have read the original comic series? Where did you get your hands on them? And, if I can find them anywhere, how much do you think they go for?

I enjoyed the movie quite a bit. Admittedly, a lot of that comes from a morbid fascination with it being Brandon Lee's final role, but I think his performance was quite good, and it shows that he definitely could have gone on to do more than just simple action roles that required no actual acting. I also like it for Michael Wincott and the guy who plays T-Bird, whose name escapes me at the moment. I think it's better than the comic too, as the story is more organized and well thought out. With the comic I got the impression that O'Barr was simply making it up as he went without any real plan in mind. Anything and everything that comes after the original movie is pure shit, and I personally view it as disrespectful to Brandon Lee. The Crow should have died when he did. |

whoreable | I agree, I find this movie highly overated. Nothing special.

FS | Meh. The Crow was alright at best. I can't see why they keep making shitty sequels and spin-offs to it, and if Brandon Lee hadn't died on the set this movie would have disappeared into the flops section.

That DMX idea was scrapped, although I can't see why - if the script was half that good I'm sold. The original Crow was ok. I never saw the others or the TV series but I heard they were pretty weak. I like Furlong, but yea - despite his pale, junkie complexion I can't see him in the role. |

I don't like snuff films. Anyway, I thought the new Crow was going to be DMX. There's supposed to be a Crow spinoff called Lazarus or something, where he's the new Crow. I can see it now... "Nigga I know you don't just touch my bird! Bust a cap in yo white ass! What! What! Unh unh! Gonna give it to ya!" But I guess Crow 4's coming out first. Frankly, I think it's going to suck. Furlong's cool and all, but as The Crow? Please. Besides, this whole Four Horseman gang shit is sounding really gay. Further more: City of Angels, Salvation, and Stairway to Heaven. Nuff said. |

Immortal Goat | Don't believe them, Rongi. It is an amazing film that must be seen to understand. And yes, the show sucked so many balls it made Richard Simmons jealous.

Immortal Goat | Yes, Jeanette, the rape scene was disturbing, but that is where the camera comes into play. If you were to watch it again, you will realize that, while still disturbing, they never actually show the rape being commited. You see Shelly Webster's shirt get ripped open, and you see her own view for a few seconds at a time, but never the actual act. The reason it is so disturbing is that your imagination fills in all the gaps left by the camera work, and the imagination is the scariest thing in the world.
