Are you sure that's not just a stupid rumor? I've seen the movie several times and I wouldn't know why they'd air the American version in the Netherlands, plus that sounds like it would totally clash with the rest of the movie.

No, I own the international version.

Royal Tenenbaum It's a really good film, but I sold my DVD away. Not quite rewatchable.

pjalne I agree. The Leon/Mathilda relationship is one of the most geniunely moving relationships I have seen in movies. There's a lot of affection going on, and it's treated very soberly. The political incorectness about the situation isn't polished down, neither is the whole thing exaggerated for shock effect.

Zomboid I don't know... 12 year old girls wanting to sleep with grown men just does I guess.

The_voice_of_reason The "Uncut International Version" is better, it goes deeper into the whole Leon-Mathilda relationship. Why does it make you uneasy?
Jun 14th, 2003 12:10 AM
Zomboid Yeah, good movie but made me feel uneasy a few times. I hear the foreign edition's better.

Leon

I am watching "Leon: The Professional" (it was simply called "The Professional in its American release) right now, this is the 21st time I've watched it. It is so cool i cry sometimes.

I had a b&w 8x10 of Mathilda (Natalie Portman) sitting with a stuffed bunny and pointing a gun at the camera but i lost it
