noob3 | I'd suggest not starting up some gay MMORPG to absorb your life, and going to a nice park! You could even go meet some ladies, or sit under a tree for a while. Maybe your hair would grow then, and you could get a avatar that does not repulse me!

I'm actually working a day job AND trying to get a music career started, so I haven't played a single minute of video games for months. I'm busy like 14 hours a day. But I'm taking a leave of absence from my job in January so I can focus on my trombone playing (grad school auditions in Feb), which will leave a good five hours a day free. Think I can get to level 70 in five weeks at that rate? |

McClain | WoW is beckoning. Hand your life over. Married? Get a divorce. Working? Quit that shit. Have any interest in self-preservation? Fuck that. Living with your parents? Okay, that's actually fine for this setup. Actually play other games? You'll forget about them all.

Guitar Woman | Minority Report and Red Faction or the sub-par bruce lee movie and the rock band that is fueled by basically nothing but a 60's midi of a rock organ? Because either way, you know.

zeldasbiggestfan | Both of those are awesome

Guitar Woman | Also, I was playing the GameCube version, that might have had something to do with it. But I doubt it.

Guitar Woman | I hated it. Then again, I also hate Enter the Dragon and The Doors, so my taste in pop culture may not be that fantastic.

Fathom Zero | Fuck You if you're being sarcastic, but Red Faction 2 is a great damn game.

Guitar Woman | Yeah, while you're at it why don't you also get Minority Report and Red Faction 2, you will love them

Perndog | What's funny is that I've never had any interest in playing World of Warcraft before, and now that I made this thread I have a scary huge desire to run out and buy it. The only thing that's saving me is that my computer is six years old (well, the important parts are, at least) and could only barely run the game. But I still almost went and dropped $800 at Newegg last night on impulse.

I have Websense issues, too. And a quick FYI, if you want to check out the WoW website/forums, try the https version. Not typically blocked. https://210.18.104.227/cgi-bin/nph-120025.cgi |

EndersGame | Thank God i dont work in a place where they deny their employees the joy and grace the internetz and all it has to offer. Think of a world without random clips of japanese game shows, or videos of random people breaking themselves in some way.

Camp Snoopy didn't close. The Mall of America owners (damn Canadians) seized it from Cedar Fair, laid off all their entertainment (including me) and a year later dropped the Camp Snoopy license because they didn't want to pay for it. The park stayed open with a generic name. That was a college job anyway. I couldn't survive on it now that I have to actually pay for food and housing. Target's not bad for a little while. I'm only staying here until I go back to school next year. BUT the Mall has a new licensing agreement with Nickelodeon and everything's going to change next spring. They still don't want to hire my band for more than a handful of special gigs yearly (only two parades this summer ), but I'm trying to find a corporate sponsor to pay us full-time salaries in exchange for putting their name all over us and performing in the amusement park. |
