Fat_Hippo | Hey, why not. At least now they can have fun while training their muscles back up. Hmmm...maybe my grandfather should get a Wii to help him, and it'd would be a great excuse to give him something that gives me something to do at his house. |

Nintendo Wiihab Didn't know if this should go in News or Gaming, so I'll let you cool mods decide. This morning I caught this story talking about the Wii while I was having my cup of coffee. Here is an excerpt: "They're getting improved endurance, strength, coordination. I think it's very entertaining for them," Penny said. "It really helps the body to loosen up so it can do what it's supposed to do," said Billy Perry, 64, a retired Raleigh police officer. He received Wii therapy at WakeMed after suffering a stroke on Christmas Eve. Perry said he'd seen his grandchildren play Wii games and was excited when a hospital therapist suggested he try it. He said Wii tennis and boxing helped him regain strength and feeling in his left arm. "It's enjoyable. I know I'm going to participate with my grandkids more when I go visit them," Perry said. ------------------------------------------------------------------------- After getting my heartstrings pulled on this morning I have come to the conclusion that the Wii is making the world a better place. It's too bad the only game I like for it is Wii Sports |
