Emu | Why buy a GCN controller? Why not just make a whole new controller that you have to buy to play old games?

The Revolution is going to be able to play NES, SNES, and N64 games. Unless Nintendo plans on having players use the GameCube controller to play these, the Revolution will have to have an A button, B button, R and L buttons, an analog control stick and a control pad, s Z button, and buttons to match the four C buttons. Ah, and a start and select button. Of course, Nintendo could just re-program all the games to make them work with a new controller, but it would cost less to make a default controller for the Revolution. I really wouldn't put it past Nintendo to make players buy a GCN controller to play the old games, though. |

It's gasoline powered? It's got a laser beam? It plays MP3's? You can put your weed in there? It's actually just a leftover NES controller? It's a SUPERJOY 4000? The controller has AI? It looks like genitals? It's solar powered? It has 46 buttons? It responds to voice commands? There IS NO controller, the games are controlled by your mind? The controller looks like a pair of scissors? JUST TELL US ALREADY! |

IGN just put up a new interview with Miyamoto. At first glance it doesn't seem too informative though http://cube.ign.com/articles/617/617000p1.html |

McClain | Perhaps it's a special Nintendo-endorsed controller project for a paraplegic?

Emu | That's what I was saying. Nintendo wouldn't put the control stick on the right.

So I need a new DVD player and a new PS2. Brilliant marketing on their part, IMO. |

And the PS3 can be placed vertically or horizontally. So if you don't like systems that stand upright, the PS3 is for j00! Don't give Reggie too much credit. He tells it like it is, but with a sugar-coated promise of good things. Like a doctor who uses a hand puppet to tell a kid their parents drowned in a fire. |

well, it may be real, but maybe a special controller for flying games or something. like the steering wheel for racing games. but either way it sucks. |

Emu | Nintendo wouldn't render their controller in a 3D modelling program. They'd whip out the real thing and beat you with it.
