How about a little of both? See, I seem to recall the Bible using the sheep analogy quite a bit. I never said it was a bad thing, necessarily.

Though I think it is. Blind faith is always dangerous, in my opinion. I have questioned everything, including God. I think that a healthy skepticism is important in life.

Yeah, "bigger" plans alright. To the size of about 500 lbs, from what you say. But hey, I don't mean to poke fun at your weight, I mean, you've improved that. And good for you. I just don't feel like wasting my time coming up with a "real insult", you know, kind of like how don't when you keep calling Michael Moore "fatty" over and over again. Because it's absolutely hilarious. So I figured I'd recycle that tired old joke over here, it's good for a hearty chuckle.

But who am I kidding, you're not worth the time to bother responding to or coming up with a real response anyway. You disagree with me, therefore you are a conservative idiot and misinformed. Oh, and you're totally not understanding the fact that I'm mocking you right now. But hey, that's okay. A big, strong, bronze sun god 'CRAZY motherfucker' like yourself can take it all in stride, I'm sure.

VinceZeb Sheep, eh? Are you refering to people who believe in God and a religious viewpoint to be sheep, are you refering to the fringe minority that will believe what they are spoon fed.

And I recieved a calling to be a priest, but God had bigger plans for myself. And my heart would have not been in it. I won't be a priest out of duty if I cannot put 100% behind it. Sorry.

Protoclown I think it's fortunate, Vince, that when you got "the call" from God to be a priest, he came to his senses and hung up on you.

I'd hate for you to be in a position to spread your awful, evil little ideas around to impressionable sheep.
Mar 27th, 2003 12:08 PM
VinceZeb If you associate agressiveness with violence, you must be an idiot.

You have either got to be the most effeminate man on God's green earth, or a emotional woman.

Agressiveness does not equal violence. I'm agressive in my job, it doesn't mean I'm going to beat up an admissions rep at another school.
Mar 27th, 2003 11:54 AM
Ronnie Raygun Well, you need to work on your debating skills.
Mar 27th, 2003 11:52 AM
Anonymous Talking with you is like arguing with a book-on-tape.
Mar 27th, 2003 11:51 AM
Ronnie Raygun Because you can't properly articulate what you are trying to say.

Simply pulling out of the U.N. does not perpetrate violence.
Mar 27th, 2003 11:38 AM
Anonymous I didn't mention war. I did label the bullying statement on the website aggressive. I do associate aggressiveness with violence. I do see pacifism as the polar opposite of violence.

Why do I feel like I'm dealing with a retarded lawyer every time we speak?
Mar 27th, 2003 11:36 AM
Ronnie Raygun Chojin, we wouldn't have to go to war just to pull out of the U.N.

What's you point?
Mar 27th, 2003 11:30 AM
Anonymous If Christ actually wasn't a pacifist, then I guess it's okay to bully a board of representatives hailing from every pertinent nation. So, in that situation, 'my bad.'

But, I'd like to hear it 'like it is' from someone with a little more sense and credibility than a sack of tumbled stones.
Mar 27th, 2003 11:15 AM
VinceZeb Wow, you just line up with the liberal sterotype so bad it isn't even funny!

Christ was a pacifist? *BUZZER* Go read the Bible again, if you ever cracked it open.

I remember Jesus throwing the moneychangers out of the temple. I remember Jesus telling his disciples to buy swords. I remember the whole book of St. John's Revalation. I also know numerous passages where Jesus put down the guantlet on many people.

Read the whole book, and not just the ones you choose to believe. Jesus Christ was the prince of peace, but the absence of war is NOT peace. It is slavery or the Second Coming.

There will always be wars and rumors of wars.... guy wiser than me once said that. Guess who?
Mar 27th, 2003 11:08 AM
Anonymous Why would a good Christian make it?

But perhaps it was Christ's pacifism that would make me think that. The religion being founded around him and all.
Mar 27th, 2003 11:06 AM
VinceZeb Yep, that is what I think, Proto. Nice twisting of words. It's what you’re good at, because besides childish whining and bantering in the articles/posts you write, that’s the only other skill you possess.

Nope, I dropped from the priesthood because I couldn't go without the fact of marrying and having a family.

I'm Roman Catholic, sorry, I can't deny it. Proud of it. Only thing I disagree with right now is the Pope's opinion on the war, because the Catechism of the Church qualifies our war with Iraq as being in the parameters of the Just War clause.
Mar 27th, 2003 11:01 AM
Ronnie Raygun Let's filter out all the crap.

""Hey U.N., we brought you into this world... and we can take you out..." - Cho

What is UN Christian about this statement?

Yes, but where did you ever express that you thought he was a girl on the boards? In other words, why make special mention of it? It's because you said he was being "cute", isn't it?

Okay, I won't. Oh! Wait a minute! You're talking about you here, aren't you! Well, it's no wonder you dropped out of the whole "priest" thing if you thought Jesus was about "beating some ass and then getting so much pussy as to make one's balls deflate". Which, you know, maybe isn't what you think, but you certainly do give that impression.
Mar 25th, 2003 02:35 PM
El Blanco Rambo Christ? Now thats a religion I can get into.

Oh and Vince, don't tell me you are Catholic. The "real Christians" don't like that around here.

What mistake is that, exactly? How does this come into play AT ALL in what you posted? What, were you secretly lusting after Chojin? Are you afraid that since you used the word "cute" in your last post to him, we'll think you're gay?

Looks like you need to check again. If you're not actually talking about Jesus Christ, but rather talking about Rambo Christ or someone else instead, my apologies. Forgive my assumption that you're talking about JESUS here.

VinceZeb Oh I thought Chojin was a girl. My mistake.

He was trying to play of Christanity as being a bunch of weak-willed pussies. Sorry, last time I checked, Christ wasnt much for wimp-wristedness.

FS When he said "Christian", he was referring to Ronnie.
Mar 25th, 2003 02:06 AM
VinceZeb yes, because being Christian had a lot to do with that shirt.

Sorry, but there are Christians, Jews, Muslims, Buddhists, Hindus, Atheists, Agnostics, Wiccans, blacks, whites, latinos, orientals, indians, native americans, etc. that hate the U.N. and believe it is nothing but crap.

So, would you like to try to be cute and associate the world's currently most popular religion once again, or will you stop trying to be funny, because its pretty damn obvious it doesnt work.
