I would say the Great Gatsby too, read like 20 pages and was like Da Vinci Code obv, oh and keeping with the political theme Mein Kampf. Its like 600 pages long, my friend was like "great bathtime reading". And every few words had one of those little numbers with a note to correct a mistake, plus it is Hitler... Never again. |

Xydexx | It's actually not silent. "Ayn" rhymes with "Mine" ... which makes sense, considering the whole "greed is good" aspect. |

Sorry to dissapoint you, but most people don't like that book. Just taking fanatic muslims, many people would like to see all copies burnt. So would the fanatic atheists. That's not really everyone else. Oh, and it's not a novel. |

Atlas Shrugged. I suppose everyone goes through their Ayn Rand phase in high school. If they're lucky, they get it out of their system in three years or so and come back to reality afterward. |

Most hated novel that everyone else loves For me, it's Beloved by Toni Morrison, followed closely by The Great Gatsby by F. Scott Fitzgerald. GG was just unimpressive to me (and I come from Minnesota, where people fucking revere Fitzgerald); Beloved was just bad. |
