KevinTheOmnivore I think that's ill advised on Australia's part, with the yellow crazy ants over running the country and all......

mburbank Are you talking about people they killed or our own people we killed accidentally?

FS How many American casualties were there in the Gulf War again? 79?

mburbank Hee hee.

Albania is sending 70. I think that's what's going to win us this war.

El Blanco I heard Poland is sending 10,000 troops to the Gulf. But, Mexico has no place to put them.

mburbank How far out of your way, exactly? Is this what it looks like when you go out of your way? How about when you were fantasizing about cramming grubby words down my throat? If this is going far out of your way, what does it look like when you DON'T go out of your way?

I'm interested in your interpretation of what I meant, Naldo. How exactly do you see my remark meaning that all Texans and Austalians are 'red necks' and 'don't count'? Why don't you stick to what I say and not interpret? If you ask me a direct question I'll answer it. I promise.

Just so you'll know I'm not lieing, here are some Texans who's necks I don't think are 'Red'.

Jim Hightower.
Anne Richardson.
Molly Ivinson.
Th Dixie Chicks.
Michelle Shocked.

Here are some Australians whose necks aren't Red.

Midnight Oil
The fine folks at the Victorian Peace newtork
The tens of thousands who marched in Syndney on 2/22

Folks who like BBQ who's necks are not red
Me.

So I guess you're a liar.

Ronnie Raygun In other words, they're all red necks in your book.

mburbank WOW! A whole Newsmax story without one journalistic rule violated! There must be a lot of folks out sick today.

It's not really a surprise though. I mean, after Texans, who loves a good BBQ more than the Aussies, right?

Australia Commits Troops to Iraq War
NewsMax Wires
Tuesday, March 18, 2003
CANBERRA, Australia -- Australian Prime Minister John Howard said Tuesday that Australian troops would join a U.S.-led war against Iraq, as requested by Washington.
The Australian Broadcasting Corp. said the decision followed a Cabinet briefing and that the nation's military chiefs have been informed.

It wasn't known immediately how many troops would be involved or what military equipment, if any, would be supplied by Australia.

Howard said that the government "strongly believes that the decision it's taken is right, it is legal, it is directed towards the protection of the Australian national interest, and (I) ask the Australian community to support it."

The Cabinet met at 8:30 a.m. local time, just two hours after U.S. President George W. Bush called Howard to formally request Australian military support for the imminent attack.

Howard said that Bush "asked whether Australia would be part of the 'coalition of the willing' if it became necessary to finally use force against Iraq to enforce Iraq's obligations under previously passed Security Council resolutions."

According to the ABC, parliament is to debate the issue later Tuesday, when Howard will announce the government's legal advice on the war.
