Samfucius No, I haven't. However, with all of the attention it has been getting, I am definitely planning to give it a shot now. Maybe in the light of this (apparently) superior game, I will realize that all I have been playing is a cheap knockoff. If this is true, I really apologize for wasting your time. However, I would still urge anyone with a couple of friends and an hour to spare to check out this game, as it really is pretty fun.

Kybo Ren so what you're saying is:
You havn't played Axis & Allies?

Samfucius I understand how I might come off as making the game seem bad...

but that's because it is. It is a bad game, in the sense that it's uneven, silly, and the outcome is many times left up to chance. But I am the person who enjoys really awful horror movies (like many here) and playing this game is entertaining for many of the same ways. Of course, It doesn't hurt that there are too many nerdy references in this game to count.

I guess this is just one of those things you have to experience for yourself to understand, and I realize I may not have done a perfect job in explaining its intricacies.

Kybo Ren You don't make Epic Duels sound very good, and I'm a Star Wars addict.
Now Axis & Allies is an amazing game with fun for the whole family. I'll be Russia- even took Berlin with them (once)

Now a Star Wars themed Axis & Allies would be the shit-

Well, notliterally, but you do screw people over with everything you do, whether it be unblockable attacks, gameplay-altering effects, or just general bastardliness.

Star Wars: Epic Duels

Has anyone here played this game? It's a boardgame, so I doubt too many people have, as the prevailing topic here is video games, but I would like to say that this game is without a doubt the best board game I have ever played.

Why?

Well, to give you a picture, me any my friends call it Star Wars: Epic Dicks, because in this game, they managed to make EVERY move a cheap move. And while that probably sounds like it sucks, with a group of good friends who can handle epic dickery, it makes for the funniest gameplay experience of all time. And the game also lives up to the Epic in its title. Every match, without fail, becomes truly epic.

I could talk about this game for far longer than anyone (except someone who has played it, and could subsequently understand my excitement) could possibly remain interested, so I'm going to stop here, and just ask:

Has anyone else played this amazing game?
