It was pretty good, but I thought the last battle went by too quickly. The mechanical Nazi guy was cool. Ron Perlman did a really good job as Hellboy, too.  Not as good as Spider-Man or X-Men, though. |

>_< DAMMIT PROTO! I liked this movie.......a lot. But on the one hand I wish they had just made a new story for him, because there was so much DIFFERENT ADDITIONS that aren't in the comic, that it honestly felt weird when I watched it. so 5 STARS for the FILM, 1 STAR for COMIC CANON lol. |

Shit. You're so right.  I compensated for the loss of a movie night with a humongous steak and cheese sub, though, so enduring the mall wasn't a total loss. |

| Buffalo Tom | It is indeed one of the best translations of a comic book to film. My only complaint is that the villains were one-dimensional, unlike their 4-colour counterparts. I wished they'd kept the urbane menace of the comic book Kroenen. Otherwise, a fine film. | |

Hellboy One of the best comic book movies I've ever seen. Definitely in my top 5, quite likely in my top three, only behind Spider-man and Batman. Everyone needs to see this movie. Ron Perlman
