| J. Tithonus Pednaud | I was a big fan at one point. His books of blood series of short stories were pretty much great reads cover to cover. But, ya, his work is pretty overcomplicated and convoluted now. Still a nice guy though, met him a couple years back. |

Not a bad book, some good stories in there. I really enjoy William Hope Hodgson's series of Sargasso Sea stories. Incredible, chilling. One of my favorite "monster" tales is called The Feather Pillow. It's about a pillow that slowly drains the life from a young woman, well, actually, it's about what's in the pillow... Moooonster stories! A couple months back I picked up a paperback copy of the mammoth book of monsters, which has a bunch of different monster stories from different authors. Soooo, which is your favorite monster story? I mean the semi-classic type of monster, not the cthulhu, eons spanning type. Speaking of which, has anyone read Clive Barker's "Cabal"?
