Actually, they had a recount of the florida vote. The results were published in major newspapers - I'm not sure exactly when, but it was roughly September 12, 2001. The article I read was something like this. "When we accurately re-counted all of the votes from only districts D, E, and F, Bush won. When we re-counted the votes from only districts A, B, and C, Bush also won. The only scenario where Bush would not win is if we counted ALL of the votes. So, since in the majority of ways of recounting let Bush win, clearly he won." Thanks a shitload, liberal media. |

Big fuckin' deal. Until they survey a million people, their polls don't mean a damn thing. Screw CNN, Fox, and especially Gallup. You want something in condensed form, go get a Readers Digest book. Polls are essentially meaningless. ________ Silver surf herb |

mburbank | I'll say! Man, remember when he caught Osama? And that othere dude, the one who ran Afghanistan? That rocked. W's like an action hero. What'll be really great is whn Saddam is gone and there's no power vaccuum or anything and we don't have to take over the country forever and nobody minds. Opinion polls? Dude, the heavens will open and W will be born aloft as on eagles wings. | |

That's it? I was worried for a second. Look at this...... http://www.pollingreport.com/BushJob.htm First of all your poll was taken on the 24th of this month. The Foxnews/Opinion Dynamics poll was taken on the 25th and 26th and it puts him at 55%. Scroll down to the next poll and as you can see, a CBS poll taken on the 24th and 25th puts him at 56%. No worries. After Saddam is gone all the polls will skyrocket in his favor. |

who clearly would have won? gore? bullshit. if i recall correctly many of the votes that were thrown out were absentee military votes, do you really think they would vote democrat? besides, the electoral college is not obligated by law to vote the same as the majority. |
