Kitsa I want to know how far all of this has to devolve before someone ends up parading Paris Hilton's head around on a pike.

Angryhydralisk Depressingly hilarious!

I also saw a mortgage broker lose his job and become a shoe shiner making 20 grand.

Angryhydralisk Plus chances are you'll just spend your 100K staring at a horse-racing screen mean-mugging all day.

Maybe if you're a slacker with a COOL job. I did tattoos for just over 5 years. Ironically, I'm back in retail and I make more money now. How'd THAT happen?

Dr. Boogie That's why I'm leaning towards them just trying to cash in on dumb people.

I once saw an add on craigslist that wanted a manger with 15+ years of experience, as though someone like that would have to flip through the want ads instead of consulting the contacts he's made through more than a decade of working in that business.

Evil Robot My question is what kind of company has to go to a web site to recruit thier higher-ups? This is something thats usually done through "personal networking" whereas the job would go to somebody that was already involved with the company somehow.

Kitsa fwiw, there's a free membership option, but you have to be dishonest about what you're currently pulling in.

It's a Monster-type job site that claims to be for jobs that pay more than $100k ("for $100k talent"). The idea is that they can get people who don't make that kind of money, but have high opinions of themselves, to sign up for a paid membership to the site.

Kitsa I signed up for it for laughs. Most of the positions in my area want 15 years experience.
