Protoclown | Hey, to each their own! I just always felt he was kind of a generic superhero writer...I mean, he's not BAD (see Chuck Austin), but I never considered him to be particularly memorable. |

Girl Drink Drunk | Mabye I rushed into that one too fast, but I thought he did a pretty decent job, especially after the Unslaught incident. What's so bad about him anyways? |

Steve Dillon and Garth Ennis on Preacher. Dillon fits really well with Ennis, I don't know for some reason his work just doesn't fit well with alot of people, case in point wolverine origins. On the subject of Morrison and Quitely, We3 was gorgeous! I like Morrison with Steve Yeowell also, (Sebastion O, The Invisibles) Alot of people worked on The Invisibles but I liked Yeowell's artwork the best on it, whereas the worst would have to be Ashley Wood |

Protoclown | Pretty much anything with Grant Morrisson and Frank Quitely. Warren Ellis and John Cassaday's run on Planetary, and Mark Millar and Brian Hitch's collaborations are always great as well. |

Your favorite comic writer/artist writer collaborations thread What runs by a certain writer and artis in a comic book serieshave you found to be memorable and classic? The Chris Claremont/ John Byrne collaboration with the Uncanny X-Men during the late 70's was a combination of deep story telling and great artwork for its time (and still holds up today), but I would say my favorite pairing was the short-lived run with Jim Lee and Chris Claremont on the first three issues of X-Men (volume.2), which made for a great start to the newer series. |
