Nick | I have a nVidia GTX 280, and I've never had a problem with it or playing games on high settings. |

Dimnos | Realistically my old 2600s did everything that I needed. This was one of those frivolously selfish purchases. My old ones would run League of Legends on a mix of medium to high settings at about 30 - 40 fps. This bad boy set all the way to high pushes around 130 - 140 fps. I love it. |

DougClayton4231 | Sweet. Nice purchase man, I hope it does everything that you need it for. |

Dimnos | Well. I stopped at the store on my way home and was about to get the 5750 then said fuck it and got the 5770. I figured if she gets mad about the extra cost she will eventually get over it. It's only $40 more. |

DougClayton4231 | Holy shit. They raised the prices of 5770's? Go with the 5750 then, you won't be disappointed. If you can wait a while, the new 6000 generation should be coming out and drop the prices considerably. |

Fathom Zero | The answer is yes and you should, indubitably. |

Dimnos | Yeah I got them back in the end of '07 around the time they first came out. They have been nothing but trouble. Something about the drivers caused my comp to BSoD every now and then. I got some updated drives for that shit and it hasnt done it in a while but still... Graphics wise they have been fine as long as the drivers decided not to act up. I ended up with an extra $100 left out of a bonus from work and thought I would see what was out there. I convinced myself to drop the extra $50 for the 5750 but not quite sure I can justify an extra $100 for the 5770 to the wife. |

DougClayton4231 | Oh, like 100%. Those 2600XT's sucked ass. Actually, the whole 2000 series sucked ass. The 5770 is a slightly better investment if you can afford it though. I wouldn't go Nvidia this generation unless you like your energy bill increasing by 10$ a month lol. I'm gonna upgrade to the same card if I do end up keeping this PC, versus buying a laptop. |

Dimnos | Im thinking about the HD 5750. Nice looking price at $150 but Im currently running dual HD 2600 XTs. Is it really going to be that much better? |
