Ex Leper | Our house is surrounded by woods and a winding driveway, nobody Trick-Or-Treats in New Paltz

Kitsa | That may be the case, but it doesn't stain my tooth-colored fillings purple.

How come parents looked at me like I was a psychopath for handing out whole boxes of Frankenberry and you were Man of the Year for handing out Boo Berry? Unfair |

i made a trip to the store on saturday (the 30th) and a stretch of town was full of trick or treaters. there was a cop car with lights flashing on either end of this street. seriously? is this what halloween has been reduced to? cop-monitored visits to ~20 houses on halloween EVE? fuuuuuck. anyway i live in the middle of nowhere, so halloween isn't an issue for me personally. |

Pentegarn | We had to give away the candy at work the next day. Bought 4 bags of candy, and we had 4 kids. Had I known that beforehand they would have gotten a bag each

elx | we decorated the entire house and made pretty cool goodie bags, but we didn't get a single trick-o-treater. i've since spoken to a bunch of friends/family around the country and almost none of them got any either.

Esuohlim | What's going with Halloween lately? My parents live in a huge neighborhood full of kids and they only got about a dozen trick-or-treaters

MarioRPG | My house ended up having a single trick or treating, who received a gracious handful of mini caramilk bars.

Sacks | That is absurd. I would have thought for sure there would have been kids wanting the sure bet. Was there a bag filled with candy?

LordSappington | Every trick or treater took a mystery bag, so we have a ridiculous amount of candy left. I wish I saw the look on the face of whoever got the bag full of acorns.

I took all my extra candy to that party yesterday and the host told me to stick it outside in a cauldron thing and I never saw it again sok |

Kitsa | You know, for this spike in Halloween commercialism there sure is a disappointing lack of return in the trick or treaters department

MLE | We had 7 in total. Two groups, both within a minute of each other.
