soul reaver - elder god (mostly in the form of a disembodied voice)
time bandits - disembodied floaty head thing

Billy West also voiced Farnsworth and Zoidberg, though. That right there is a perfect counterpoint to your comment. He is quite versatile, and with his resume, it's hard NOT to have a voice or two that end up overlapping in similarities.

How many voices can YOU do that don't result in your killing your throat by doing on a regular basis?
OK, I admit I stand corrected, but looking at the basics, Fry and Stimpy are lead characters, and the lead characters he voices do sound alike.

Doug, for example.

I was thinking more like Virgil from Mighty Max, but that also means I agree with you. It's a bit bizarre to hear the owl from Mighty Max threatening to destroy the X-Men.

Rongi Billy West is an extremely talented voice-over. He has helped make Zoidberg one of the greatest fictional characters ever created.

Mike P There's also Scott McNeil, who was in a lot of stuff. But then he started doing mainly anime.

Skulhedface What's weird about most of these cartoon voice actors is that they have a startling lack of versatility (unless you count accents).

For example: Billy West's Fry sounds exactly like his Stimpy. If you watch Futurama with your eyes closed, it makes for a funny mental picture.

Cowboys Of Moo Mesa was horrible, but for some odd reason everytime I see it mentioned I can remember the theme song.

There's another one with this purple blob thing that I think could turn into anything. He lived on a different world and came here and some other crap but I remember I kinda liked that show too.

Oh, and Tom And Jerry Kids.
I remember those. I can't find a damned thing about them, though, except for "Tom and Jerry Kids".

Supafly345 The cowboy show only lasted 2 seasons I think, probably because they took guns that shot sherif badges seriously.
May 4th, 2005 06:44 PM
ItalianStereotype wasn't it cowboys of moo mesa? that show was terrible :<
