Holy crap! Is Kevin sticking up for the Conservatives? Excellent, your transformation is almost complete. First, you eat meat, then you speak in favor of the conservatives. Soon, you'll be voting against welfare and for military spending. Come, join the darkside. Together, we can end this destructive conflict. We can rule the galaxy as father and son! |

Oregon has a kooky policy that if you can get 1,000 people to congregate in one area and sign your petition, hold a "mass signing," then you can get on the ballot. Interestingly enough, the Dems sent people there, so it was a mixed audience of Nader people, neurotic conservatives, and Democratic activists. If Nader adopted the policies these people believed in, I'd have a problem, but he seemingly hasn't. Politics is all about those who want this or that doing whatever to get it, so it's all part of the game. If those conservatives (whose numbers and participation seem to be inflated by the Democrats) want to help Nader on the ballot, so be it. It's an interesting strategy they have. Rather than selling John Kerry, they work as hard as they can to stifle democracy. Of course, Democrats aren't opposed to third party candidates entirely, b/c they owe Ross Perot. They only dislike it when third parties create obstacles to their immediate desires.... |

I'd phone in for a 3rd party conservative candidate. Whatever helps you win without being illegal. |

Desperate Republicans of Oregon Two Oregon based republican groups were caught doing unrequested phone campiagning to get Ralph Nader on the ballot. I guess they figure Bush can't beat Kerry based on his performance as President. |
