robo_rob Eh, yeah I'll get to it eventually. As long as the game play is good, i can always laugh at the crappy stuff.

Emu For five bucks, it's worth playing if you're a fan of the series. It's really not that bad a game, it just feels unpolished. The directors spent too much time trying to perfect the atmosphere (which they did a good job on) that the story suffered for it.

The main problem with the game is that it's even possible to separate 'atmosphere' from 'story.' This isn't true of the first 3 SHs, anyway. Arguably maybe even the 4th one.

Otherwise, it's really just small stuff. Alex's model is beautifully detailed and his expressions are superb, but other important characters like his parents (and to a lesser extent his brother, even) have very rigid expressions and look very drab when standing next to Alex. The discrepancy is wide enough to be really noticable.

robo_rob I bought it for $5 brand new at Best buy recently (along with Condemned 2 and Too Human at the same price) because somebody had put several copies of the game in a discount bin.

I still haven't even opened it (playing through Too Human and would rather play Condemned 2 before I get to it), is it even worth playing?

King Hadas Silent Hill is usually all about existential horror. This one goes for a more modern horror movie feel. Saw, Hostel, that sort of thing.

Emu It's completely skippable. Go play Fatal Frame 2.

10,000 Volt Ghost lol, I think Guitar Woman played through it. Good luck with that opinion though.

Silent Hill: Homecoming

Did anyone ever play this game? Is it any good? I noticed its only $35 used and am thinking about picking it up. However I thought the franchise has been shit after 2.
