I like listening to music I like and zoning out as I play a game that moves at the pace of the songs and flashes pretty lights at me. How pretentious. It's not a very good game, since the notes don't seem to move with the rhythm (it's just a twitch game, really), but it's a fun time waster. |

BurntToShreds | Yeah, why exactly is it pretentious? I don't think it was created to just attract attention or impress others. (Thanks, dictionary.com) |

Audiosurf Boy, this is a cool one. For those who haven't heard, Audiosurf basically takes a song you select, any from your library, and makes a kind of "track", where you have to collect colored blocks while avoiding gray ones. The images are freakin' beautiful, but simple. For anyone who wants a Guitar-Hero esque game without the pretentiousness, this is for ya. |
