Scrooged is one of those holiday movies you get around the 21st-ish of December, before the channels are warming up and bring out the 'big guns' - 'big guns' in christmas movie network executive terms being, well, anything by Pixar or The Great Escape That's why I just love those 80's perennial favorites (Scrooged, Gremlins etc), as they instantly take you you a time when christmas is still exciting as it's just around the corner, but before all the disappointment, family-related stress and mental anguish take their toll. Rog, I salute you! |

Wouldn't mind seeing some channel loop nothing but Christmas-themed horror movies all day long too. You know... Jack Frost, Silent Night Deadly Night 1 & 2, Black Christmas, Gremlins... that'd be a hell of a good time if you ask me. I agree with The Night the Reindeer Died being a full movie. That and 'Thanksgiving' would be the best holiday double feature ever fucking made.

The Ten Best Things About Scrooged! I agree completely with this list (with the exception of the dancers), I always try to see Scrooged every year. |
