But a lot of them are assholes, Fu and my only advice is to begin over in General Blabber and try not to flood that vicinity too much. You'll begin to see the little clicks pop up, if you haven't already and when you chide with one, the others will swarm all over you like stink on shit. Basic human nature. It's rogues like Max and myself that tend to spook the cattle. This most recent flurry of activity will settle but the theme will remain the same: Max and I are just having fun. You need a pretty thick skin over here. Grow it quickly. |

To be perfectly honest, the only thing I read prior to posting on this forum happened to be the rules. There are sooo many unwritten rules it's not even funny. I do enjoy a good flame war now and then, as many other boards do not allow it. It's good that you didn't actually intend to corner someone and keep on dishout out insults. You see, for although you are a bit rash, I find a bit of intelligence in a post once in a while. Prior to this thread, I was rambling on in an attempt to troll my way through, because as I've said earlier, this forum isn't very good. But it does make me think of what sort of characters are on this forum. Not all of them are stupid. Not all of them are dumb. |

Fu, If your referring to last evening, that was a bit of a fluke. I was not aware that Max and I were essentially posting to the same person until I hit the "submit" button.  We seemed to do this again and again and I noticed our posts were almost simultaneous. I am not sure how long you've been reading here prior to posting but there has been an ongoing "mock" for sometime. Originally, when I came to the forum I was a completely different poster. I did my best to fit in and as a noob, was righteously shot down, as is SOP for new people. Little by little I developed a callus and although I enjoy a few friendships beyond this place by posters here and lurkers who have not signed on, there are a couple that come back with the same old shit and will not really relax with the fact that I am not going away. I developed my own litany of replies after seeing that not a lot of other female posters here do so and yet, when I do the same thing that the guys here do, it just sends a whole flurry of furious activity out. For some odd reason, some of these posters just get riled over it, while quickly forgetting that they has instigated it in the first place. The difference is that it is a female shoving them back and while this isn't unheard of over the net, it does base it's originality in the fact that I won't back down and run off. This is where I enjoy it the most. for the time being, i have hit my comfort zone and feel right at home here. I am called a bitch, a cunt, and a whore most of all. Once in a while I'm called something very creative and this is great. But what I notice the most is that all I'm doing is mirroring back what they give me. Occasionally an unsuspecting new person will walk into the crossfire and get shot down. |

Another clearly identifiable shift around this part of the pasture is my allegiance with a strong, intelligent character and the mild dust storm it seems to be stirring up. Dude, I'm just having fun, just as Max is. It's nothing personal and whether it's funny or shitty to anybody else around here is no more skin off of my nose than anything else that has been tossed my way. Just having fun and for the most part, it's kept here and not as much over on any other the other forums. I only shoot back a retort when given one. I don't seek it out as a rule. Another thing I shall note is that I predominately stay on three forums. There is absolutely no need to continue over on anything else for me. This is out of respect to those who do not seek out the inanities of idle banter and wish instead, to parlay with intelligent posters.
