UnDeath *stretches arms, and ego AT THE SAME TIME*
yes. yes. I know. I know. what I dont get, is how hitting a ball with a stick is far more interesting than a robot that shoots lasers? and the construction of said Awesome?

Duck Goddess There's just something refreshingly sweet about a guy who would rather talk about giant robots and LARP, than how the Yankees are doing this season. Nerds have SO much more to offer, in the conversation department. Unfortunately, a lot of my fellow females would rather have John McJock for a BF. YAWN.

Guys, you just gotta look for the girls who know what a sense of humor is. I Love how gawky and awkward my geek was when we first met. We couldn't go anywhere together, since he was excited all the time, and spent most of it elsewhere.

Hey guys, girls are scared what YOU'RE gonna think of US, no matter how cute you think we are.

Bottom line, you guys are hilarious on these boards, and there's hope for y'all. CHEER THE FUCK UP... Quack.

Ooner I met a nerd today who was so fucking lame I wanted to smack him.

Nerd =/= good
Nerd =/= bad
Nerd = Nerd

They're all different. Just hope you're the good kind.

Ooner is a good nerd.

CastroMotorOil I am nerd/metalhead who has a gf, and friends, but loves star wars way too much.

UnDeath um.... hi. But just kinda replace fencing with generic swordplay, then yeah.

Hi, Jenna

The One and Only... Is a nerd. Yay.

I'm one of the wierdest nerds though... how often do you meet a nerd/metalhead/fencer who actually has some friends?

Duck Goddess Ah, cheer up guys. Geeks DO make the best lovers. There's nothing hotter than a man who suggests getting it on to the Zelda theme.

You know who you are.

soundtest Ninjavenom: I read that article and thought my friend would like it so I gave her the link... turns out she has been friends with the author since she was 5. Weird!!!

Jeanette X Worry not, my fellow nerds. You don't have to face the awkwardness of real life. Use match.com . I did and I now have a lovely nerd bf who I have been with since October. You do have to subscribe to e-mail people, but some of them use their aim names for the match.com screen names. Just add them to your buddy list and see if they come on. Good luck and godspeed.

He just thinks you are a really nice girl, but by golly, he is just a nerd and you are a girl, and girls do not go out with geeks.
So very true.

That article just made me feel like shit. Thanks a lot, Ninja.

Nice guys often think since you are so pretty, you must clearly already have a dashing, rich, Italian boyfriend who jets you off to Europe on the weekends. After all, you are a girl; therefore, you must be taken. This is the dating logic of a geek.

Jeanette X Yep. I was diagnosed about 2 1/2 years ago. It explained a hell of a lot. :/
