Drew Katsikas | Friends are very helpful, and Amazon.com can be as well. When I was searching for Vonnegut I was introduced to the one and only Charles Bukowski! That was awesome.

Grazzt | Usually "amateur journalist" sites about the type of reading. For example, a lot of my comic suggestions come from the Quarter Bin.

Where Do You Get Reading Suggestions? How does everyone get their reading suggestions? I'm talking about published, hardcopy fiction or non-fiction not online sources or periodicals. 1) Suggestions from friends, instructors, co-workers, ect. 2) Published and/or online reading lists. 3) Suggestions from radio and TV programs. 4) Suggestions of librarians or book store staff. 5) Suggestions and/or source citing within previously read material. 6) Trial and error in book stores, librairies and various other media sources. |
