noob3 They stuck me in the left field. Do you know how many balls went out into left field? None. Well, one or two. But I didn't know how to catch them, you know? My parents stopped comming to my tee-ball games. My coach was mean!

And now we see where those "intricacies" you were speaking of really come from. They're the "intricacies" that aren't really there unless you're wearing your beer goggles.

Still, I'll be damned if I was able to sit through an entire game without wanting to end my life.
Now, if you drank, you'd enjoy yourself much more.

The only reason I'd have trouble sitting through an entire game is because, by the fifth inning, I'm ready to go out and play.

Mockery Hardly a Philstine my friend... I used to be into baseball big-time. Folllowing player stats, playing on teams, and of course collecting baseball cards like a mofo. Still, I'll be damned if I was able to sit through an entire game without wanting to end my life.

Thank you. Your throat will now be donated to the charity of our choice.

If I ever see you speak such words again, I will be forced to tear out your throat.

sspadowsky If you paid attention to the intricacies of the game, you'd be amazed how much more is going on than you think. Especially when you're playing. There are so many different things you have to think about all at the same time, and so many things you have to anticipate. Plus, the history is awesome. Except for the part about not letting black people play until 1947. Other than that, the game is rife with great legends, games, traditions; hundreds of colorful players and personalities...... I could literally go on for hours.

Plus, you have to admit it's not an easy sport. The pros may make it look like it's easy to hit an 85 MPH slider, but I assure you, it ain't. Pretty much anything you see in a game is a whole lot harder than it looks.

I know it's not a game for anyone with a short attention span. But, man, there's nothing in the world that gets me charged up like baseball does. If I had the choice between playing music for a living or playing baseball, I'd pick baseball.

You wised up.

Baseball bores the absolute shit out of me. I don't understand how people can sit there and watch an entire game. If you're gonna watch sports shit, at least watch hockey or something instead...
Apr 8th, 2003 12:41 AM
Les Waste Indeed, watching baseball is the goddamn pits. Even when I actually go to baseball games, I can never sit and watch the whole thing. I end up going to get ultra-expensive nachos, and then I get distracted by the $500 seat cushions in the gift shop, and one of the hundreds of televisions placed inside the stadium is playing something good, so I stop and watch it.

However, it is very fun to play baseball. But since God decided to drop several inches of white shit, that won't be happening any time soon.

Fuck you, god.

Anonymous I HATE baseball. I was over at my sister's place since last week and she watched baseball all fucking day and I had no where to go and nothing to do except sit through it. Pure torture. I used to play baseball, but goddamn watching it has to be one of the most boring things ever. I waited for the commercials to come on and fell asleep during the game

hate baseball hate

Carnivore Woohoo! Another season that will start with guarded optimism, turn to false hope by July, and end in despair come September.

Go Red Sox!

sspadowsky You were distracted by comic books. Rekinlde your love for the game by creating a comic book about baseball.
