Cap'n Crunch I don't think it is worth the trouble for ROM hacking. I just open a file and rearrange it, and then I draw the new stuff in.

X-Fed: KUNIO! I don't believe I'm doing it right. How do I know which text is which? Do I save, dump, and THEN insert my changes? I'm confused.

James The problem with Hexposure (and all rom hacking programs) is that certain components are not recognized by your system. You're probably doing the text editing right, but it won't work until the system recognizes the program.

Unfortunately, the only way to do that is to reformat your hard drive. Then, after you reinstall Windows (or whatever OS you use), you need to install Hexposure as the first program you put back on. Then defrag, and it should work.

After that, you can add everything else back too.

Hope this helps.

I suck at NES ROM hacking....

Hello. Yes, yes, I know, I'm new. Whatever.

Anyway, like I was saying, I suck at ROM hacking. I'm having a lot of trouble with Hexposure. How exactly do I change the text in a NES ROM? I've tried everything....
