Love and Other Drugs

My girlfriend forced me to watch a chickflick with her. The first half of the movie was basically softcore porn. The second half was by the numbers romantic comedy with the most annoying comical sidecharacter ever. So yeah, I pretty much hated everything about this movie (excluding Anne Hathaways tits), but at least I got laid.

Might watch that later again.

Watching coneheads. Fucking love this movie.

Diary of a Wimpy Kid: Rodrick Rules

It was okay, I didn't like it as much as the first one. The kid who plays Rodrick is really good. It's nice having a movie for kids that doesn't have the whole Disney shitty-kids-show thing ballsing it up.

Holy crap. Kitsa liked a move?!

Kitsa Jun 28th, 2011 01:49 PM

I like lots of movies. Not recently, but you know.

I went through my whole $10 giftcard at the video store yesterday. :(

Somebody pointed out to me that the Captain America movie is a reboot. He said they made one in the 90s starring JD Salinger's son. I thought it might be cool....
Oh God, what a piece of shit, I'll never get those hours back.

Mad Melvin Jun 30th, 2011 06:15 AM

There Will Be Blood

This was maybe the 4th time I watched it. One of my favorite movies. I fucking love Paul Thomas Anderson.

You can skip out on all the early 90's superhero movies(capt america, spider man, some other garbage). I remember being disapointed with them when they came out.

Great movie, I've only seen it once so far.

Daredevil was on tv when I went home for lunch. I forgot Collin Farrel played bullseye. :/

When they introduced Fisk they were playing "Lapdance" by nerd and it made me crack up. Then I remembered that it probably came out when this movie was released.

Kitsa Jun 30th, 2011 03:41 PM

I've got "The Last Exorcism" and "Inception" at home, haven't gotten to them yet.

Has anyone seen Transformers 3?

Pentegarn Jul 1st, 2011 05:45 PM

Managed to successfully avoid it so far

darkvare Jul 1st, 2011 06:07 PM

i just came from watching transformers 3 its better than number 2 but worse than 1 one thing i must say optimus is one cold blooded killer

kahljorn Jul 1st, 2011 06:48 PM

man i hate inception sort of.

fucking juno is an annoying character, and it seems like all the other characters were added more for plot convenience than anything else. "HEY, YOU CAN GO INTO DREAMS RIGHT? ALSO BRING THAT BABY IM SURE HE HAS SOME KARATE MOVES TOO."

but yea i really hate juno. I think it would've been cooler if t here was no juno. Pretty much all the other characters end up looking like inexperienced cockmonkies cause of juno. plus she's annoying and bitchy and a know it all. It would've been cool if she would've died because she was cocky.
also that movie is totally not deep. It's more like an action movie than anything else.

Spoilers!

pretty much the only character i like in that whole movie is the guy from 28 days later. he should've gotten a best actors award for that movie.

Killer Klowns From Outer Space in anticipation for the announcement of the sequel. http://www.facebook.com/pages/Killer...04296156279669

That's pretty spot on. Still no Grimlock. It seemed like they focused more on the humans again. There were still a few "Missing Transformers" scenes where they just go missing for 20 minutes of the movie and then are back.

Optimus Prime seems like he just runs on adrenaline.
Spoilers!

edit: Also saw it in I-Max 3D. Got there kinda late so we had to sit on the side. There is a part where they are sliding down something and it looked amazing because I actually had to turn my head to the right side of the screen.

As with every Imax movie the imax scenes were worth it. Although an entire film is never directly filmed with it.

I watched The Wicker Man with a bunch of friends and if we didn't talk all the way through it I think I would have just left.

The original or the Nick Cage remake? Because I lost it during the bees scene in the remake and a bunch of dumb old fogies got mad at me because I laughed like a madman through the whole scene.

Not a new film for me, but the latest film I watched was David Cronenberg's film version of Naked Lunch. I originally saw it on a VHS cassette that I bought at a flea-market when I was twelve. Diehard Burroughs fans may hate it, but I loved it just as much as I did when I was twelve and terrified that my dad would catch me watching it.

The Mechanic!

I was happily surprised that it didn't suck old-man balls.

Kitsa Jul 4th, 2011 12:16 PM

I'd never seen Zoolander before, and I watched part of it yesterday. It was better than I thought it would be, unless the gasoline fight was the peak of the whole movie.

Also made the decision to skip "Inception". I used to really like Ellen Page, back in the TPB days, and I have Hard Candy on DVD. She kind of lost me around Whip It, which seemed like Ghost World Lite to me for some reason. Anyway, I watched the South Park Inception ep and I think I've got the gist.

Kitsa Jul 4th, 2011 01:46 PM

Mugabe and the White African.

This movie reinforces my lifelong decision to stick to my former list of countries I'd avoid like the damn plague. Zimbabwe is on the list. It's just one of those places that won't go well if you're not on the violent guy's side.
