In spite of the dust, it's actually a pretty flattering photo. The metal parts are tarnished pretty badly. But seeing the Nintendo logo in brass? Badass.

pac-man Feb 13th, 2009 07:01 PM

That case (with games inside, of course) would've made a kid king back in the day.

Fully Modded Neo Geo system (including green LED power indicator, UniBIOS & Component cable outputs), 2 controllers with extension cables, plus the Super MVS Converter II.

Some more of my Neo Geo MVS carts, a few with shockboxes & custom inserts. I plan to get shockboxes & inserts for all of them eventually.

My original Nintendo DS (never upgraded cuz I have big hands and liked the feel of this one more even though the new ones have better screens)

Nintendo Wii, Wii & Gamecube games, and my original Playstation system.

Some of my Playstation games (including a few in the original tall boxes that I loved before they started coming in typical CD cases), some DS games, my beloved R4DS (aka: the reason I don't own more DS games) and a bunch of dust :O

HOORAY FOR MONKEY ISLAND!

The original Gameboy (hoping to get a copy of Nanoloop for it sometime soon) and a copy of Truckin' for the Intellivision because... you can't go wrong with a title like that.

Really lucked out and won the entire collection of these magazines in an auction for quite a steal a while ago. It's one of my favorite gaming mags, but it's based in the UK and each issue usually sells for quite a bit.

I have a ton of other old games and systems packed away in boxes too, but I don't have the room for 'em in my place right now, so I'll have to take pics of that stuff some other day. Good times :O

I really love that you have the retro gamers, let alone all of them! Simply amazing. I'll post my NES collection here in a bit, I'm very proud of it. Pics to come soon!

Babs Feb 26th, 2009 10:02 AM

just got it on an iso 5 days later

Emu Feb 27th, 2009 10:39 AM

Wednesday at work someone traded me a whole bunch of perfect condition boxed games, including Street Fighter II Turbo, Mortal Kombat 2 and 3, and Top Gear 3000, which apparently goes for like 40 bucks. And an actual Nintendo SNES cleaning kit, still in the box but missing the fluid that goes with it. I appropriated that one for myself. :yum

Zomboid Feb 27th, 2009 02:14 PM

Does that smilie imply that you're going to consume those items for sustenance?

Emu Feb 27th, 2009 02:19 PM

If by that you mean gaming sustenance then yes.

Babs Feb 27th, 2009 09:10 PM

Just a little bit of what I own.

Emu Feb 27th, 2009 09:34 PM

Nice shelf.

Babs Feb 27th, 2009 10:10 PM

That picture's old too, I have a lot more NES games. I go searching where ever I can and haggle the prices, mostly Flea Markets where Mexican's can't speak any english and involves me showing them a 5 dollar bill.

darkvare Feb 28th, 2009 03:01 PM

Emu Mar 18th, 2009 09:22 PM

Zomboid Mar 18th, 2009 09:51 PM

Yeah, Tim usually wins these threads :(

Edit: What are those "Nintendo Trophy Figure" things?

timrpgland Mar 19th, 2009 05:12 PM

Figure posed scenes from the original Zelda.

I'll post some other more specific photos eventually here.

Emu Mar 19th, 2009 10:22 PM

Where the hell did you acquire all of that?

Also: That Earthbound box, is that genuine? I've never seen one that didn't come with the strategy guide.

Schimid Mar 19th, 2009 10:37 PM

Chojin, my girlfriend and I visited Circuit City on its VERY LAST DAY when it was going out of business and got a DirectTV display...for $10. Basically it's a giant shelf with a hollow backing with four shelves descending with one of those little card displays next to each system. Shit is nice.

I'd take pictures if I could--wouldn't beat tim's collection, but once I fill up the displays it'll be incredible.
