Speaking of John Carpenter... what about The Thing on xbox. It was a much better game than what it looked.

I liked how you had to test your friends after fights to see if they had turned. They would get all pissed off about you not trusting them lol

I've got to put Kingdom Hearts out there, though I'm sure plenty would disagree.

I enjoyed the second, and was amazed by how many of the orginal voice actors signed on for the dialogue, although I though the portrayals of the FF characters were lacking.

i'm not sure kh counts, since it's not really based on one movie or comic or novel? unless there's some dumb manga i'm not aware of that it's based on

star wars arcade? yep, battle of yavin from the first movie. KOTOR? nnnope
