Meaning I can forgive a shitty lighting effect, wheras I hate Twilight Princess and everything about Twilight Princess.

And yes, I was planning on getting Metroid Prime 3 and Sin and Punishment, but I don't even have any Wii points and my dad has already spent enough on this

Guitar Woman Oct 19th, 2007 12:52 AM

I think the PS3 has more appealing games than the Wii does right now, guys

srsly

Emu Oct 19th, 2007 12:54 AM

The only thing wrong with TP is that yes some of the level design in the later game was a little skimpy. What do you expect? Halfway through the development they decided to change to a radical new platform.

Chojin Oct 19th, 2007 12:54 AM

But in all seriousness, I play mario strikers charged every god damn day ;<

Also, if your sensor's on top of the tv, try putting it below the TV. You can also set the position to 'above' or 'below' regardless of where the sensor actually is to change the height. So in other words there are 4 settings - Sensor above/set to above, above/below, below/above, below/below.

I highly recommend the following games!
- Mario Strikers Charged
- Metroid Prime 3
- Mario Party 8 (if you have real life buddies, otherwise this is a pass)
- Resident Evil 4
- Super Paper Mario
- Tony Hawk's Downhill Jam

Emu Oct 19th, 2007 12:54 AM

The PS3 has MGS4, that's it :[

Heavenly Sword is fun in that God of War-with-a-chick kind of way but I hear it's short.

Chojin Oct 19th, 2007 12:56 AM

PS3 is getting MGS4 next year sometime.

Right now PS3 has resistance and motorstorm, both of which come with it in the new packages.

Guitar Woman Oct 19th, 2007 12:56 AM

I have no real life friends, so no Mario Party. ;_;

As for RE4, I'm not paying 20 bucks to re-play a game that stopped being fun 3 months after I got it, thanks.

Guitar Woman Oct 19th, 2007 12:57 AM

Also, PS3:

Resistance, Heavenly Sword, a bunch of good multiplatform stuff, and Warhawk. Which is FANTASTIC.

Chojin Oct 19th, 2007 12:58 AM

also my wii code is 5383 1323 0481 8006

Chojin Oct 19th, 2007 12:59 AM

if you want a ps3, go get a ps3. don't be a faggot and just ignore the tons of good shit on wii, though, through retail and VC offerings.

Guitar Woman Oct 19th, 2007 12:59 AM

and I've got the thing sort of calibrated, but the remotes are really inconsistant about when they want to turn on and I still have to hold it upside down gangsta style for best results.

DuFresne Oct 19th, 2007 01:00 AM

Believe what Chojin says about Downhill Jam! I rented it along with Sonic and the Secret Rings and barely ended up playing Sonic at all.

Guitar Woman Oct 19th, 2007 01:00 AM

ALSO, PAYING FOR ROMS

Emu Oct 19th, 2007 01:00 AM

Wii RE4 really changes the game around. It's graphically better on the Wii and the Wiimote-as-gun isn't nearly as awkward as it seems like it would be.

Chojin Oct 19th, 2007 01:00 AM

also it says your wii number is incorrect.

I KNEW YOU DIDN'T REALLY HAVE ONE OR YOU WOULD NOT BE MAKING THESE ACCUSATIONS ;_;

Chojin Oct 19th, 2007 01:01 AM

paying for roms VS not having roms at all! SIGN ME UP FOR NO ROMS AT ALL PRZ

also what the fuck are you talking about what your remote issues? do you have seventy lit candles around your tv?

did you ignore the safety manual and pour a bottle of tang in there?

Emu Oct 19th, 2007 01:02 AM

where does "no roms at all" figure into the equation

Chojin Oct 19th, 2007 01:03 AM

Into his 'the ps3 is better because it doesn't make me pay for roms' thing

Guitar Woman Oct 19th, 2007 01:04 AM

I don't know, it's been fucked up since I turned it on. I can learn to play like this because I got it to not be so bad, so I guess it's no big deal.

Also, try the second code I posted, the first one was borked.

Guitar Woman Oct 19th, 2007 01:04 AM

ALSO I HAVE A PC FOR MY ROMS FAGGOT

Guitar Woman Oct 19th, 2007 01:05 AM

AND WAY BETTER GAMES THAN THE WII OFFERS

DOES THE WII HAVE SYSTEM SHOCK 2? NO? I FUCKING THOUGHT SO

Emu Oct 19th, 2007 01:05 AM

You could just have a shitty controller. When we got a Wii for my brother it wouldn't play any games and made a loud WHIZZZZZZZZZZZZZZ every time you tried to put one in, so it's not like the things are breakproof. The thing to do would be to take it to your local Gamestop or whatever and try the controller on theirs and see if it works better.

Emu Oct 19th, 2007 01:06 AM

And they're not forcing you to spend your points on the SNES games :rolleyes

Guitar Woman Oct 19th, 2007 01:06 AM

We don't have GameStop in portland :<

DuFresne Oct 19th, 2007 01:07 AM

It's never going to be perfect, GW. I move my wii from room to room in my apartment all the time and rarely bother to recalibrate. Just know that you need to point in the TV's general direction and you'll get used to it soon enough.

Guitar Woman Oct 19th, 2007 01:07 AM

Also, I would buy a game if I really really really wanted the experience of playing it on a TV, like say Earthbound, but I was promised that last week and I don't see it anywhere.

I like the news channel, though!

Emu Oct 19th, 2007 01:07 AM

If you have a Hollywood Video anywhere around there's usually a GameCrazy attached to those. I tend to have better luck with them. If you have a Babbage's or an EBGames, same thing.

Chojin Oct 19th, 2007 01:07 AM

the remote interacts with infrared light, so make sure you don't have a big lamp or something right in front of the tv.

also, what the fuck is your point now? my CD-i can play TONS of games that you can't play on either PC or Wii! Clearly THAT is the superior system!

Guitar Woman Oct 19th, 2007 01:10 AM

My point is fuck the virtual console because it's filled with games I can get for free

Chojin Oct 19th, 2007 01:10 AM

What games do you have for Wii, GW?

Also, what, in your opinion, should Nintendo have done with the Virtual Console? Re-release everything in their library for free download on their servers?

Emu Oct 19th, 2007 01:11 AM

Twilight Princess :rolleyes

Emu Oct 19th, 2007 01:12 AM

If you want a new game but don't have the money go sell your gamecube since your Wii can play the same games. That'll give you at least probably 30 dollars depending on where you sell it.

Chojin Oct 19th, 2007 01:13 AM

I'm just having a hard time figuring out who thinks $5 is an outrageous amount of money for anything

Emu Oct 19th, 2007 01:14 AM

When the alternative is free it is I guess

Realistically though it's a lot cheaper and a lot more reliable than going out and buying an SNES and a hard copy of Earthbound :<

Chojin Oct 19th, 2007 01:14 AM

WHATEVER YOU DO GW DO NOT DOWNLOAD THE EVERYBODY VOTES CHANNEL IT MIGHT BE FREE BUT IT DOESN'T INCLUDE 800 HOURS OF GAMEPLAY AND A SNACK :eek

Guitar Woman Oct 19th, 2007 01:15 AM

Someone who is not a big boy with a big boy job like you, jerk

Also, I have Wii Sports and Wii Play. I got it for the extra controller so don't give me that look, you gay

Guitar Woman Oct 19th, 2007 01:15 AM

What is the everybody votes channel? Is it at least better than that freebie MP3 thing which did not even give me a demo so I could see if I like it?

Emu Oct 19th, 2007 01:16 AM

Well jeez, no wonder. Those are the two gimmickiest games on the Wii.

Chojin Oct 19th, 2007 01:16 AM

Yeah, honestly I'd rather just have the games there on my wii channel where it's much easier for me to drop in and play a few things real quick using the same controller. The PC keyboard feels like a dick when you're playing anything retro (unless your only knowledge of consoles prior to the PS2 consists of roms, i guess), and you can download and re-download the games all you want from now on (like on steam).

Chojin Oct 19th, 2007 01:17 AM

And also spend your weekly allowance on any of the games I just mentioned and you'll like your game system a lot better, now that you'll have games to play on it.

Guitar Woman Oct 19th, 2007 01:17 AM

SHIT, MY INBOX IS SUDDENLY FILLING UP WITH NINTENDO TELLING ME SHIT I ALREADY KNEW

HOW DO I GET RID OF IT

Emu Oct 19th, 2007 01:18 AM

I use this for my PC gaming:

http://ec1.images-amazon.com/images/I/214ZZH49R5L.jpg

Shaped like and functions like a PS1 controller and is perfectly responsive. It also works with every emulator in the universe. So I get the full gaming experience.

Guitar Woman Oct 19th, 2007 01:19 AM

The reason my library sucks so bad is because my dad bought it with no knowledge that I wanted MP3 really really bad, and because it came with an extra controller. HIS FAULT

Guitar Woman Oct 19th, 2007 01:19 AM

And I have a gamepad for my emulation purposes, too.

Chojin Oct 19th, 2007 01:19 AM

you are the most spoiled kid ever ;<

Guitar Woman Oct 19th, 2007 01:22 AM

says YOU, I bought all my PC crap >:

Emu Oct 19th, 2007 01:23 AM

I bet he bought you another nunchuck, too :rolleyes

Guitar Woman Oct 19th, 2007 01:25 AM

DID YOU KNOW IT WAS AN AVERAGE OF 62 DEGREES AND CLOUDY IN PORTLAND TODAY WITH A SOUTHWEST WIND OF 17 MILES PER HOUR

Guitar Woman Oct 19th, 2007 01:27 AM

Haha, this console is all right guys

It still needs better games, though

Emu Oct 19th, 2007 01:28 AM

Wait til after Smash Bros. is out. Then we'll start seeing the gold.

Chojin Oct 19th, 2007 01:55 AM

i own more wii games than I do for any other last-gen console ;<

Guitar Woman Oct 19th, 2007 02:01 AM

I'd like to thank Chojin for giving me the gift of Lammy vs. Parappa in a boxing match. And Dogbert, although I'm not sure what I'm gonna use him for yet.

Also, Du Fresne spammed my Mii channel with like 15 guys >:

Chojin Oct 19th, 2007 02:03 AM

guys i found CD-i porn

http://rule34.paheal.net/post/list/CD-i/1

Chojin Oct 19th, 2007 02:04 AM

you should get mario party just so your siblings can scream and cry and try to kill each other with the remotes

Guitar Woman Oct 19th, 2007 02:04 AM

Yeah, I was gonna tell you about that but I didn't think to save the image before the fag mods on 4chan got rid of it.

THIS ANUS IS WHAT ALL TRUE WARRIORS STRIVE FOR

Chojin Oct 19th, 2007 02:06 AM

haha, from my psych textbook -

7.8 What are the facts and the myths concerning infant immunizations?
  • Immunizations are far less dangerous than the diseases they are designed to prevent and are one of the most effective weapons in the fight against infectious diseases.

Take THAT, middle America.

I've sent those to all my wii friends. It's not my fault you're late to the party and thus have to recieve all of them at once instead of one at a time whenever I make one.

Guitar Woman Oct 20th, 2007 12:25 AM

Guitar Woman Oct 20th, 2007 12:29 AM

Which isn't as choppy and gay anyway

Chojin Oct 20th, 2007 01:03 AM

actually no it was just a thinly veiled attempt to get you to send me porn.

Guitar Woman Oct 20th, 2007 01:04 AM

WHY MUST YOU KEEP BADGERING ME FOR THIS

THE INTERNET IS FULL OF IT YOU KNOW

Guitar Woman Oct 20th, 2007 01:06 AM

For those who care a fair amount of Giygas porn exists, although I can't remember where :<

Chojin Oct 20th, 2007 01:12 AM

okay but where is the porn you made your avatar from

Guitar Woman Oct 20th, 2007 01:14 AM

I don't have the original image. And 4chan is down so requesting is out.

HickMan Oct 20th, 2007 08:53 AM

Hey I-mockery, I've got a problem.

My brother is a complete douchebag. All he does is go on /b/ and try to read me these retarded stories that I don't care about. He saves countless lame pictures that he claims are funny to show me all from /b/. I don't got to /b/ too much because my brother made me think it's totally lame. Which it is. He makes it sound like he's part of some elite internet force just because he goes on this lame website. He's also getting a Wiccan marriage with his girlfriend of four months. I am no attending the 'hand binding'. Can you guys help out?

Emu Oct 20th, 2007 09:30 AM

/b/ was cool back when nobody knew what it was.

As in, when it didn't exist.

I don't really see the appeal of claiming to be part of an anonymous nerdfag hive mind, but then again I don't play WoW either. Especially when that hive mind consists of a number of fatasses and Aspies who never outgrew random humor but won't admit it. *eats some cheese XD;;*

MarioRPG Oct 20th, 2007 01:42 PM

I stay away from that site anyway. Theres a lot of awful things on there.

Chojin Oct 20th, 2007 01:43 PM

They pretty regularly have child pornography in /b/, too.

Guitar Woman Oct 20th, 2007 04:55 PM

Tell him to go hang out on /v/ like all the cool kids.

Guitar Woman Oct 20th, 2007 05:20 PM

Also, Wiccan? Is he or his girlfriend overweight?

Fathom Zero Oct 21st, 2007 07:00 PM

Seven Force?

MarioRPG Oct 21st, 2007 07:15 PM

Too thin.

DuFresne Oct 21st, 2007 09:01 PM

Too not dripping with bloody semen.

Esuohlim Oct 21st, 2007 09:55 PM

The general concensus among my friends is that I should go as Doug Funnie for Halloween and the only green v-neck sweater vests I can find online cost like 60 bucks :(

Sethomas Oct 21st, 2007 10:00 PM

I did that back in 2004 and I made out with at least six chicks. Not necessarily because of it, but still. I still have that sweater somewhere, but I think I'd have to make a trip home (far far away) to get it. What would you give me for it?

ScruU2wice Oct 21st, 2007 10:08 PM

Millhouse, I was in econ class and our professor wanted us to name concerts that we wanted to see for examples in class, and I said that there was a ween concert on the 20th and no one believed that ween was a band.

You're avatar made me relive that pain.

HickMan Oct 22nd, 2007 05:42 AM

My brother's girlfriend isn't fat or anything. He's just a douchebag.

Just sayin'

noob3 Oct 22nd, 2007 02:13 PM

i go to 4chan some times but never /b/, that shit's retarded to the max. i think i'm better off not even looking at what is there, so i don't.

Just get a green sweater and cut that shit up like it was paper.

Esuohlim Oct 22nd, 2007 10:02 PM

Yeah but I want it to look authentic and I'm all like Charlie Brown with a pair of scissors >:

Chojin Oct 23rd, 2007 04:28 PM

Have you guys ever noticed that renaissance festivals are like the ancient mating grounds for overweight and/or butch lesbians?

Emu Oct 23rd, 2007 04:30 PM

I took my little pomeranian/shi-tzu/chihuahua mix dog to a ren fest a few years ago, and this big bitch kept kissing him and trying to hide him in her cleavage. He would've fit, too, if he wouldn't have been kicking her :\

Emu Oct 23rd, 2007 07:03 PM

It seems like I'm going through the initiation process on the I-Mockery forums. Everybody is trying to put me down. I just find very amusing overall.

In other news...

I'm back in college and am taking:

Chinese 1005 - Introduction to Chinese Culture
Humanities 1010 - Introduction to Western Art
Philosophy 1030
And an Intro to Aud to TV Production class too.

I've also been busy working on some film projects. More on that later though.
Well, that's all for now.

Just thought I'd let you all know I still breathe even though you probably don't give a shit! =P
Why do all furries end their journal entries with "I'm posting but you probably don't care!!"

Although, most just associate this as being a furry these days it seems despite the fact I don't dig any of the fur fetishes. I love to write and make home movies. I am straight and currently single. I am really into horror related things but I am not a goth (or pseudo goth as I like to call it for this day and age). I especially like psychological aspects of horror and fear because I find it fascinating to research into.
