Change my vote to just MA. Or east coast. I dunnae really care.

Protoclown Mar 31st, 2003 08:22 PM

Well, shit, aren't Boston and Salem fairly close to one another? I'd like to see both, really.

I vote for Massachusettes simply because it seems more affordable right now.

If it happens in Vegas I will TRY to make it, but I don't know if I can. And I'd have to fly, and I am NOT going to do that for the first time ever by myself.

Anonymous Mar 31st, 2003 08:26 PM

Flying is scary as shit. Especially if you get on one of those planes with the live performances, and you just know the clown is going to pull the old 'look, I'm going to open the hatch' joke, but it frightens the befuck out of you anyway.

Carnivore Mar 31st, 2003 09:09 PM

Unacceptable! I must insist this Mock Meet be held within Boston only! Leaving the city would be an outage! >:

Seriously, I wasn't planning on us spending that much time in Boston.

Massachusetts - 6
Las Vegas - 1

Should we count everyone's vote? :/

theapportioner Mar 31st, 2003 09:21 PM

I cast my vote for Beantown.

Beantown - 7
Vegas - 1

davinxtk Mar 31st, 2003 11:31 PM

Indeed, we already have discussed how his opinion is null and void on such matters.

I'm voting for Tenno and myself.

Vegas. :o

Wiffles Apr 1st, 2003 05:48 AM

Can we go to Kansas? ^_^;;

Protoclown Apr 1st, 2003 06:58 AM

Yes, by all means, go to Kansas. Especially if you don't have access to a computer once you get there.

glowbelly Apr 1st, 2003 10:16 AM

boston.

sspadowsky Apr 1st, 2003 10:17 AM

I have nothing against Boston. Vegas would be cheaper for me, but I'm fine with Boston.

Bus my ass! Enough of us live in MA to provide ample transportation.

I will, however, charter a "special" bus just for you, Lenor.

Professor Poddar Apr 2nd, 2003 08:13 PM

If Lenor's attending this shindig, my presence there is assured.
We can even converse in your language, if you'd like, my dear.
Here, I'll try my hand: "Yo, biz-natch, my homeez ain't playin' like dat. I be free to attendz this heeyah gath'rin'. Quit stylin' the mack homeyz with the naff rise." I am inordinately proud of myself at the moment.
This affair had BETTER be held in Metro Boston, wouldn't you say? I know of a nice little town called Andover. It has some nifty night-spots, ten prostitutes to every man, and more Indian girls than you can shake a stick at. How about it?
The Professor has lectured... his pupils have listened... all is well in the classroom.

Carnivore Apr 2nd, 2003 10:15 PM

It does very much appear to be a landslide victory for Massachusetts. Your attendance will be most welcome, Professor!

Vibecrewangel Apr 3rd, 2003 05:23 PM

Sad....

No Vegas? :wah

Don't forget that Boston is a city on an island.

Salem and Boston are fairly close to one and another, I'd say about 15 miles from each other. It would usually take me 15 minutes to get there by driving on Route 1 which makes great for a scenic route. There are countless resturaunts to choose from. There's Weathervane, the seafood resturaunt inside a pirate ship, meat-heaven Hilltop with a huge cactus and cows in front lawn waiting to be brought in and slaughtered for meat, Fuddruckers, Prince the pizza place with a mini Tower of Pisa on top of the building, Kowloon the chinese resturaunt, candy/ice cream store and lastly, a rhetoric mini putt putt course with rather large orange T-Rex hovering over the highway. Out of all the resturaunts, I'd highly suggest Prince, the pizza is superb and they serve beer as well.
