Well, Daniel is my last name. But, I've been going by Danny since 3rd grade. There was already a Daniel, and he was way more popular. So, unless I went by Danny, I would have been totally looked over in life. :(

+ My full name is DANIEL HOWARD TATOM, and that sounds way smarter than i really am. and i don't wanna throw anyone off. :o
