I love Splatterhouse, but I can't say I'm optimistic about this game.

From the shots I saw in EGM, it looks like they're just taking Rick and putting him in some generic 3d world to beat up monsters. It looks like they're completely abandoning the scary settings from the original series.

Nevertheless, it could still be good, I suppose. We'll just have to wait and see.

I loved the original splatterhouse games. Can't wait to see what they pull off!

As long as they keep the grotesque monsters and imagery, I'll call it a success.
