and i'm not talking about cigarettes or pole kids.

after helping me cope with a lot of hating life and feeling sorry for myself for the last few years, i am now at a point in my life where i have to retire my favorite bad habit :(

sigh.

so get used to seeing me around here a whole lot, i got to have something to do with my idle time, and i'll prolly be drunk most of the time.

I gave up weed for my wife. Never really got back into it again. I could smoke 30 bucks a day easy.

I smoked pot for the first time since the summer last saturday and I was pretty fucked up. I got the usual slow-mo for everything and that really blew. I'm smoking like half a pack a day for cigarettes. I usually cut down once I get to this point, but it's sooo hard now :(

the bf gave it up long ago and now he finds potheads very frightening.

way back when imockery was on ezboard i went on about how it is one thing to smoke for fun, another to smoke as a lifestyle.

i got shit to get done.

i tore a john mccain sign out of someones yard while doing my paper route tonight. i was pretty mad that it was there, being angry is one of the great things about not being high.

now i get the fun dreams that i usually have when i retire from a heavy period of smoking.

I seem like I'm high if I stay up too late. I'll start laughing at virtually anything.

People still have those up? I laughed because right after election day, all the McCain signs I saw on my way to the train were gone and all the Obama ones were still up.

Shortly after the election, my dad acquired a McCain sign as well, which he kept in the garage. I have no idea what he had planned to do with it (my whole family were Obama supporters), but my mom convinced him to get rid of it. Our neighbor had had up a McCain sign as well and my mom was worried that she'd think my dad stole hers.

I've always thought it was way unclassy for candidates/people to leave signs up after winning an election. I've heard that it's a "thank you" to the voters, but it always came off as gloating to me.
