here is some of the seals that can be used for magic. but when theese specific seals are carved into a talisman like this they form aan amulet that can banish the evil ones, the Rabishu however in the same time, it may only be used as an offensive item if moonlight shines upon the amulets metal. |

from the key of solomon ;( http://www.sacred-texts.com/grim/lks/lks05.htm that's all the seals for all the demons within the key of solomon. Somewhere in the book it says which metals/materials to make the talismans out of and describes how to summon them. |
i myself prefer to use "the book of fifty the fifty names".

You know that magic isn't real, right?
And neither is the Necronomicon. |
then how come that i own 2 types of it?
|
Yeah, Spectre, I've got both Super Mario Bros. and Super Mario Bros. 3 in some box at my parents' place, are you gonna tell me the mushroom kingdom isn't real? Because in my dreams I go there ALL THE TIME.

actually the real necronomicon isn't a book ancient of evil lore
|
That's because it's not real. It's not a genuine tome of arcane secrets. It was composed and published because H.P. Lovecraft made it up and it became popular.
|
Nuh uh! Its real, haven any of you seen evil dead!? Its full of spells that ressurect demons, and create time warps, all kinds of crazy shit.
|
And how can you explain your own avatar when Hellboy is CLEARLY LOVECRAFTIAN??
|
I own an ancient book about dragons. Therefore dragons exist.
|
There is an actual Book of the Dead. But it isn't evil, it isn't called the Necrinomicon, and really has nothing to do with what anything with what marine thinks it has to do with.
Its just what egyptians used to keep track of how many of their pharoes have died and what what they did in their crazy vacation in the afterlife. |

Yea I posted the link to the egyptian book of the dead in this thread, also to the psychedelic Tibetan book of the dead(the tibetan book of the dead edited by timothy leary if I remember right). I really liked the tibetan book of the dead.
Both necronomicons have been called inauthentic on many occassions, yet there is still alot of recorded usage of the rituals and ceremonies. This may have something to do with the idea that most of the practicioners don't really believe in magic per se, but the ability ceremony and ritual has to control the sub-conscious and make an effectual change upon it. Some people who summon monsters from the necronomicon would probably also be inclined to summon the Harry Potter heirachy(not that they do), and according to them they would receive the same results because it is more of an intellectual mapping than a magical process. Jung studied, practiced, wrote and even based alot of his ideas on magical bs. |
i still prefer to use "the book of fifty names"
|
I prefer, "The book of a thousand invocative farts".
|
I prerfer the instruction manual to Crimson Skies.
