the only reason i can assume u want to test the voltage of a 3 volt battery is cause you think its broke or something?

he want's to see if it's at .9 volts and maybe buy a new battery :lol

I got this at a pawn shop for $5, and I'm replacing all of the batteries in my SNES and Genesis carts because hardly any of them save anymore.

Turn the dial to the 20 on the DC part (V with a straight line). Red lead is positive, black lead is negative.

Unless you put your leads in backwards. :(

Don't forget to plug one into the wall socket. It can't do much without power.
