Just got back from a Futhur show at the Greek. Jerry's replacement is awesome. The band sounds really tight.

I went to Boston, Ma to see the Gorillaz and N.E.R.D. It blew my mind it was so good.

Girl Talk played about twenty minutes away last Saturday, so I grabbed my camera and was thrashed by hundreds of half-naked coeds.

Yeah, I've already got the ticket. $200... but it's for a festival and DJ A Trak is going to be there too, so I don't feel too bad. Plus some other shitty pop music and folk crap or whatever.

The Living End are playing at the fall festival too :) I've only got to see them once but they played excellently.

I rarely go to concerts but the last one I went to was Zappa Plays Zappa.

Last show I caught was Devo. Good thing I saw them given the fact that Mothersbaugh Bob cut his tendon in his hand and can't play. They canceled their remaining tour dates.

Other than Devo, I saw Tears for Fears. They were amazing. :)

Last year, I had lot of fun seeing Morrissey for the first time. I also saw Other Lives and Bats for Lashes and the Perez Hilton tour featuring Frankmuzik, Semi-Precious Weapons, Ida Maria, and Ladyhawke. Frankmuzik was ok. Semi-Precious Weapons was amazing. Ida Maria was stone drunk, didn't play much and sucked rotten egg. Ladyhawke is who I came to see. She was great!

I love Frankmuzik.

Going to see Wu-Tang and they're like "RZA's not going to be on tour with us."

So I went over new years, and it was pretty average. Public Enemy were really solid, and I enjoyed that, but A-Trak just played techno shite which I hate, rather than hip hop that he does really well. There was some sort of swing band there that was also really good, and impressed me, and The Living End and Interpol were ok too I suppose. Other than that it was boring and full of dickheads.

RZA didn't end up touring with them, the show was great though. Did Public Enemy end up playing a good while?
