You'll have to look elsewhere. Of course NBC wouldn't upload the video. It'd cost too much due to licensing. Supposedly it was already uploaded and NBC yanked it. :lol

Tadao Jan 21st, 2010 07:25 PM

I think Hulu shows an episode only after a new one is aired.

Phoenix Gamma Jan 21st, 2010 11:58 PM

Oh. I don't use Hulu, so I dunno how they work.

However, Conan just cost NBC another $4.8 Million in under a minute. Awesome.

Pentegarn Jan 22nd, 2010 08:42 AM

Luckily I saw the 1.5 mil gag when he showed it again last night. I wonder if that was really Mind That Bird though?

Tadao Jan 22nd, 2010 12:22 PM

I call shenanigans!

Pentegarn Jan 22nd, 2010 11:43 PM

I think, per Conan's suggestion, I need to start more posts with, "Dear internet"

EDIT: Wow, Neil Young crushed it. What a touching tribute to Conan. Neil Young sang "Long May You Run"

bigtimecow Jan 23rd, 2010 02:37 PM

the little ending monologue had conan almost tear up. you could hear his voice like hiccup trying to hold it back. so sad :(

10,000 Volt Ghost Jan 23rd, 2010 03:20 PM

Watched criminal minds last night and I think the one guy(Matthew Gray Gubler) looks a lot like Rog.

Zomboid Jan 23rd, 2010 03:48 PM

GET THAT SHIT OUT OF HERE, BILL! THIS IS CONAN TIME!

Wow. My buddy and I left the bar early and watched Conan's final show. That was so bittersweet. Some of the best TV I've ever seen.

10,000 Volt Ghost Jan 23rd, 2010 04:19 PM

I've missed his entire run except for the inaugural episode hosting the tonight show. What was the $1.5 joke about?

bigtimecow Jan 23rd, 2010 04:56 PM

the last few shows he's been doing these gags where the show "costs NBC some couple million dollars and nbc has to pay for it." at first i thought it was real, until on the last episode when they took an entire mammoth body fossil and had it spray caviar on an original picasso

and then of course conan admitted they were fake. still lol though

Pentegarn Jan 23rd, 2010 05:56 PM

That was when he said, "Dear Internet" and I laughed for awhile

Phoenix Gamma Jan 23rd, 2010 07:11 PM

Dear Internet,

Why did Conan have to just bullied by NBC, while that cunt Jimmy Fallon gets to stand around and tell horrible jokes on his horrible show that only five whole people watch?

bigtimecow Jan 23rd, 2010 10:14 PM

david letterman made some funny jokes about carson daly who apparently is still on the air

what??

Phoenix Gamma Jan 23rd, 2010 11:24 PM

I remember when he Rick Roll'd the audience.

Not only was it not funny, and not only was the audience's laughter forced, but he did it wrong. I guess hosting a terrible talk show wasn't bad enough >:

At least Letterman is still kinda funny...

Babs Jan 24th, 2010 05:23 PM

David Letterman is a joke.

whoreable Jan 27th, 2010 07:22 PM

this is fucking bullshit. why the hell is there no Conan thread on these boards?

Conan is the classiest guy ever to be on tv. Although ive enjoyed pretty much the whole run of Conan's tonight show, last week was especially great.

executioneer Jan 27th, 2010 07:45 PM

it made me feel bad that i didnt have tv so i could watch conan every night :( and that i didnt watch the episodes on hulu when they went up every time :(

Fathom Zero Jan 27th, 2010 07:52 PM

Conan O' Byron is okay, I guess.

MarioRPG Jan 27th, 2010 08:31 PM

I'm not a fan of Conan, I think he repeats himself a lot. Having said that, I suppose they all do. However, I don't really think they should have got rid of him. Also why the news made it such a huge issue, was sorta strange.

Anyway, I'm hoping to catch Spartacus: Blood And Sand. Going to try and download the first one because I missed it.

Pentegarn Jan 28th, 2010 08:15 AM

Not sure they all repeat themselves a lot, but I always use Lettermen to judge that. Compared to him, none of them repeat themselves much. :P

King Hadas Jan 28th, 2010 08:43 AM

Conan does, or did I guess, repeat himself but that's to expected. He had to do an hour show five day a week, most of which was improvised. Conan was a treasure and NBC made a fool mistake losing him.

I'm wondering what Conan's going to do now. On one of his last episodes he listed off some offers his gotten and one of them was to play an IRA member on Sons of Anarchy which is something I'd really like to see. I'm not sure if he could do a serious Irish accent though.

They would probably only ruin it for you. :( I was totally hooked back in season one and at least part of two. Maybe all of two. I cant really remember but somewhere around the end of two or the beginning of three I just couldnt stand it anymore. :tear I just hope ole JJ doesnt fuck the convoluted hell out of Fringe too.

Tadao Feb 2nd, 2010 12:56 PM

I thought Lost aired their end of all seasons show already.

I set my DVR for 7pm - 8pm for LOST and now I find out its only a clip show at that time followed by a 2 hr premier. Now I have to go home and REDVR.

I bet this guys formula was like "Well of course Neo divided by the square root of super hero Will smith ='s what I'm talking about."

Esuohlim Feb 4th, 2010 02:46 PM

Lost's season opener was pretty underwhelming. Things are happening that I'm expecting and that ain't no fun >:

Also politics are for gay people but I started the West Wing a few weeks ago and I love it. :gay

Get ready to be unimpressed. The first hour was terrible. Horrible pacing and way to much weird shit that you the viewer is suppose to just accept because its lost and weird things can happen. Hour 2 was ok but overall it was a very bad season premiere.

I don't like how it seems that the writers didn't want to choose between the two possible outcomes they set up at the end of last season so instead decided to do both.

That's kind of how I felt from watching the first 20 minutes.

Esuohlim Feb 4th, 2010 05:55 PM

What's probably going to happen this season is going to be similar to the structure of season 4. The alternate reality storyline is concurrent with the on-island storyline, and it will lead up to the end of the series where they will show how the on-island storyline events trigger the alternate reality.

It's kind of like an "it's all a dream" cop-out, only they're doing it right away so the ending doesn't seem as anti-climactic.

I probably should watch the first 4 seasons huh?

Esuohlim Feb 4th, 2010 06:00 PM

I bet they're going to show how shitty all their lives are anyway and that they were better off in the plane crash.

Tadao Feb 4th, 2010 06:51 PM

Guys, it's just a really long episode of Family Guy.

King Hadas Feb 4th, 2010 08:13 PM

I thought it was a good episode by Lost standards. I watch for a while, wondering if I'm wasting my time, then something happens that peaks my interest and then something else happens to dull it. A good episode will end with me still in a state of interest.

Spoilers!

Womti Feb 5th, 2010 09:24 AM

hay guys guess what I was watching last night???

Spoilers!

Pentegarn Feb 5th, 2010 09:50 AM

The old one or the new one?

Womti Feb 5th, 2010 09:59 AM

the old one. let me tell you: longest. fucking. show. ever. those episodes are like an hour long, each.

10,000 Volt Ghost Feb 5th, 2010 10:46 AM

Oh man, wait till you get to the Beverly Hills 90210 season finale with the wedding. :tear

Watched the first eps of Lost season 6 last night and it was okay. I kinda figured thats who Smokey Bones was for a while but its still kind of interesting. Miles need to have more screen time because he is awesome and I like people named Miles.

Womti Feb 5th, 2010 02:00 PM

I thought it was DECENT. HALFWAY decent. but I dont watch Beverly Hills, 90210, so :\

10,000 Volt Ghost Feb 5th, 2010 02:20 PM

:lol I feel like the term decent means 50% good. Not horrible not splendid. So halfway decent to me means about 25% good. It's worse than bad its poor.

Does anyone remember the season finale from 90210 where there is a wedding + a car crash?

WhiteRat Feb 7th, 2010 01:44 AM

So i just borrowed some Twin Peaks DVDs from a friend. Dare I watch?

Pentegarn Feb 7th, 2010 10:20 AM

Absolutely, that show was so fucked up that you have to watch it.

10,000 Volt Ghost Feb 8th, 2010 11:12 AM

I need to watch TP too. I really like the movie/prequel. Was it Fire walk with me?

Dimnos Feb 8th, 2010 02:26 PM

There is some channel that will will play all of TP back to back every now and then. I want to say its Chiller but I dont think thats it. But yes you need to watch that shit.

Fathom Zero Feb 8th, 2010 03:01 PM

It's Chiller. That and Tales from the Darkside, man.

captain516 Feb 9th, 2010 12:24 AM

I only saw a little of Twin Peaks, but holy fuck it's good.

King Hadas Feb 10th, 2010 03:45 PM

It seems like Married With Children is airing everywhere lately, I saw an episode of it last night on Comedy Central. I wonder if this has anything to do with the bad economy because I noticed it has usurped The Fresh Prince of Bel-Air's time slot on Nick@Nite.

Esuohlim Feb 10th, 2010 03:57 PM

I tried to like Married With Children but I honestly don't see what the fuss is about

Tadao Feb 10th, 2010 04:12 PM

Married with Children is so amazing. I just watched Viva La Death Cart two part episode the other day.

Kitsa Feb 16th, 2010 02:49 PM

watching the latest season of big love and they're reaching further and further. I no longer have any idea what the fuck is going on half the time.

Dimnos Feb 16th, 2010 03:17 PM

What are you talking about? This season is kicking ass so far.

Kitsa Feb 16th, 2010 03:34 PM

how the hell has the man not had a heart attack or nervous breakdown by this point? He's the grandson of an ousted prophet AND his father is constantly trying to kill his mother AND he's married to three women who are involved in all sorts of intrigues, AND he owns a home improvement center AND he runs a casino AND now he wants to be a senator? I mean, wtf?

Dimnos Feb 16th, 2010 04:21 PM

Yeah he does seam to have his hands full. :\ At least his dad isnt trying to kill his mother anymore though. They seam to be getting along well this season with their crazy bird trafficking schemes.

Esuohlim Feb 17th, 2010 10:46 AM

I'm rewatching The Wire again. Seasons 1 and 2 are way better the second time, but I didn't get anything new out of season 3.

Esuohlim Feb 22nd, 2010 11:15 AM

The first episode of Always Sunny I saw was the Gang Exploits a Miracle when it first aired, and I didn't like it. I got back into the show again before the 5th season aired and watched all the episodes. I still think the Gang Exploits a Miracle is the weakest episode of all of them.

10,000 Volt Ghost Feb 22nd, 2010 01:53 PM

yeah, that episode isn't that great.

I usually try and introduce new people to the show with either "The gang gets invincible" or "The gang solves the north korea situation"

Ant10708 Feb 22nd, 2010 02:47 PM

I also thought the miracle episode was a tad weak but they can't all be amazing.

Pentegarn Feb 22nd, 2010 05:51 PM

My favorite Seinfeld episode is where Kramer went nuts and got all racist on everyone.

Esuohlim Feb 22nd, 2010 05:57 PM

I love Seinfeld. :( George is probably my favorite character ever along with Coach McGuirk and maybe Buster Bluth

10,000 Volt Ghost Feb 22nd, 2010 06:05 PM

My main complaint about seinfeld isn't even about the show itself. It's always seeing clips of funny parts of it on FOX commercials. I used to watch it and kind of think its funny....but I can only take so many 10 second clips and one liners from a show when its not even currently playing.

"YADDA YADDA YADDA. YADDA YADDA YADDA. YADDA YADDA YADDA. YADDA YADDA YADDA........

I'm rewatching all of It's always sunny season 1,2 and 3 today. I'm in tears laughing at all of it. My mom wandered in during "Underage Drinking : A National Concern" and I had to try to explain the logic they use to justify things. On cue they started breaking down why they are helping the youth by selling them drinks in the bar and my mom almost fell over laughing.

Heh

Esuohlim Feb 24th, 2010 05:23 PM

Yeah, I rarely actually laugh out loud during shows that are supposed to be funny, but Sunny can actually put me in tears too. I don't remember the episode, but the entire scene where Frank takes Dennis to an orgy and it's just a bunch of fat people wearing masks eating buffet food was the funniest damn thing I think I've ever seen.

Tadao Feb 24th, 2010 05:30 PM

Oh man I need the dvds past season 3 but I'm fucking broke next month already.

kahljorn Feb 24th, 2010 08:00 PM
