What was the stupidest game you ever purchased

For me, it was a game with the word soccer on the box (pre played at EB games). The cover art is in japanese and it is entirely in japanese. The name of the game is unknown and to this day, i cannot even start the game, only open a series of options that are in japanese. I only keep this game as a reminder to never buy a game in a dialect i cannot understand.

What the fuck would possess you to buy a game titled "Soccer" anyway? At least get something with a recognizable title.

marmielake Jul 24th, 2005 11:26 PM

half life 2
it was totally overrated and expensive as hell.

MetalMilitia Jul 24th, 2005 11:43 PM

>:

Seriously, that game was terrible. :<

Well, it was excellent- if you also think watching a terribly tedious movie and constantly pausing it every ten seconds would be the greatest cinema experience of all time. ;O

super monkey balls and i hated it with a passion

Return to Castle Wolfenstien for the X-Box.

This game was great, but brings back the point that most FPS games on a console suck when compared to PC versions.
Worst purchase in the last 2 years for me.

Bram Stoker's Dracula for the SNES.

I bought it from a (now former) friend of mine for 5 bucks. The gameplay was terrible, the graphics were off-putting, and ultimately I just couldn't get into it. The music I actually kinda enjoyed, though.

Some stupid olympics game on the SNES, it sucked.

neojester12 Jul 25th, 2005 12:10 PM

Fuck you, I had that on genesis and loved it.

ET for the Atari 2600 followed by X-Men for the NES.

timrpgland Jul 25th, 2005 07:17 PM

RYL... the game sucks.

ROOKIE Jul 26th, 2005 01:23 PM

Gran Turismo 3. The cars feel like boats. The most exciting thing and also toughest challenge is making successful turns.

executioneer Jul 26th, 2005 04:08 PM

the cars are difficult to control because it is based on real physics :lol

Girl Drink Drunk Jul 26th, 2005 07:16 PM

Bionic Commando

Emu Jul 26th, 2005 07:34 PM

Mad Melvin Jul 26th, 2005 07:47 PM

The stupidest game I bought was definitely Back to the future 2 & 3 for NES. That game didnt make no goddamn sense. I had no idea what the hell I was supposed to do.
I collected fuel for the DeLorean and avoided these fucking birds that made the most annoying sound possible and the main character shot bouncing popcorn out of his penis. That was the dumbest game I bought and the weirdest game I ever played. :(

Probably this George Foreman game for the SNES. It was trying to be like Punch-Out!!, but I guess it didn't try hard enough.

Ninjavenom Jul 27th, 2005 12:31 AM

Suikoden is the most regrettable game i have ever purchased.

Schimid Jul 27th, 2005 01:32 AM

Guilty Gear Isuka. $50 bucks for that piece of dung.

Dr. Boogie Jul 27th, 2005 03:22 AM

A tie:

Garfield: Caught in the Act for the Genesis.

DBZ: Budokai for PS2.

Guitar Woman Jul 27th, 2005 01:55 PM

Star Fox Adventures. That has to be the biggest piece of seagull shit that has ever disgraced one of my consoles.

Oh God!. How could have forgotten X-Men? Although I've never played E.T. (I've heard that a shitload of copies were crushed with a steam-roller, along with Pacman, and cemented in a landfill), X-Men was the rape of comic-liscencing and gameplay.

eggyolk Jul 27th, 2005 04:54 PM

yea ET takes the cake for worst game ever :lol

:rolleyes
