So basically it is a non-issue brought up to enrage and motivate the conservative base?

kahljorn Mar 11th, 2012 12:48 PM

:lol
isn't that basically what 80% of politics is anyway? Seriously i hate politics sometimes, like reading that case on the last page how that woman who was on disability for 7 months from a private school and had no idea if she'd be able to return towork had her vacant job filled so she sued for discrimination -- how does that turn into a gay rights issue?
wtf.

Evil Robot II Mar 12th, 2012 04:16 PM

Seriously does anybody here even have or know of somebody thats able to medical insurance?

kahljorn Mar 12th, 2012 04:30 PM

almost everybody i know has medical insurance -- from jobs mostly

i remember you saying your health insurance was 3000 dollars or something though.
but you're also an illegal immigrant from ireland or some shit maybe that jacks your rates up

Evil Robot II Mar 13th, 2012 01:59 AM

IM GONNA SMASH YOU IN THE FACE WIHT ONE OF THOSE GLASS RESTRAUNT KETCHUP BOTTLES THAT ARE ALWAYS FULL FOR SOME REASON

Evil Robot II Mar 13th, 2012 02:01 AM

kahljorn Mar 13th, 2012 02:14 AM

when i worked at a restaurant we would refill those ketchup bottles from other partially empty ketchup bottles ;O :O

I OFFER THIS MYSTERY SOLVANCE AS AN APOLOGY FOR MY BEHAVIOR

Fathom Zero Mar 13th, 2012 11:07 AM

That's what I would do, as well.

Tadao Mar 13th, 2012 11:54 AM

I had Bluecross/Blueshield and only had to pay something like 100 bucks a month probably a lot less i'm guessing around 60 bucks, but that was 3 years ago so lets just say 100 bucks.

My restaurants aren't that fancy we only had platic ketchup bottles.

Zhukov Mar 14th, 2012 09:06 PM

I had private health for a while, but I don't really need it, so I stopped paying and they stopped giving.

Also I am not in the USA and I get health care for free anyway.

Dimnos Mar 18th, 2012 03:19 AM

If You guys still give a crap about the insurance and birth control, here it is. The Government is saying that if you employ anyone, you must provide a minimum amount of health coverage to you're employees. Companies looking to cover their employees will find that any basic health plan will cover things like vaccinations and the simple more common birth control (pills). Catholics and other religious types seam to think by simply providing coverage they are being forced to provide birth control which is against their religion. So they bitch that their freedom of religion is being infringed upon to try and get out of paying for coverage.

I personally feel if were half as good as they claim, they would just pay for it and trust their faithful followers to not use it simply because they could.

Tadao Mar 18th, 2012 02:42 PM

I personally feel that if they hire people, they need to follow the law. It used to be that Catholic schools were run by nuns, now half the teachers and even some of the principles are not nuns or priests. Fuck them and their double standards. If they want to run a profitable organization (i.e. private school) they can follow the rules that everyone else has to or go back to nuns and priests.

kahljorn Mar 18th, 2012 08:09 PM

tadao that makes too much sense and you know it. its not even in the realm of possibilities

Tadao Mar 18th, 2012 08:34 PM

This one is pretty good too just because it actually happened.

Sacha Baron Cohen continues to cause angst for the Kazakhi people.

I think it's more a case of him having a brain as smooth as a honeydew. He's AWOL from the army, and his idea of keeping a low profile is to try and steal the identity of one of the richest people in the world.

Colonel Flagg Mar 27th, 2012 09:55 PM

To cover his overdue army loan payment, plus cash a check for $15,000 WAM.

Really?

Everybody knows that using a pink bowling ball automatically makes a guy a homo.

Colonel Flagg Mar 31st, 2012 08:40 AM

IT'S NOT PINK DAMMIT, IT'S "LIGHT RED"!
