Suggestions please

I would like some suggestions on some bands to listen to. As of right now, the only things I really listen to are random video game tunes, King Missile, and the Beatles. So yeah, I have little or no taste in music. Which is why I'm asking for any help that you have to offer.

THanks, even though I know most of you are just going to mock me relentlessly and cause me further psychological pain.

EDIT: As well as Space Ghost CDs... yeah, not much better.

Perhaps... but I, no doubt, give you some competition.

The only album I can think to recommend at the moment is David Bowie's 1.Outside. To describe it briefly, I'd say it's dark and artsy, but in a good way. It's about the grisly art-murder of a 14-year-old girl named Baby Grace Blue, but the story itself is portrayed in a non-linear manner through songs and segues. The album booklet is an interesting read, for it includes a short story about the murder that's written by Bowie. Great stuff. Without a doubt, this is my favorite album.

I wish people would just realize that its like, okay to hate music... like theres nothing wrong with you if you don't really like it very much.

I remember one christmas my mom was really worried because I didn't ask for any CDs for christmas.

Nonsense, Jixby. Everyone likes music, except for John Ashcroft. Glowbelly taught me that.

The Clash - Sandinista! >:

Also, Joe Strummer and the Mescalero's new album is awfully bitching. If you're the type of person who just hates all music except for music that really isn't considered real music (They Might Be Giants :( ), then the Clash is a good band to get into cause they're real good and it makes you sound like a lettered, pompous asshole to say things like "London Calling is the Clash's best album, but I personally think Sandinista! is better."

Trust me :(

Rancid- Lets Go

Less Than Jake and Rancid have both gone to hell since their early days, but losing streak is definately a great album.
