Does anyone here like the new MLP show? Personally, I think its good. Its well written with some wholesome humor. Good characterizations too.

I may be offending some people who grew up with the old MLP shows, but I think its a great update to an old show. I watched the old MLP shows but I think they were just too campy *cough*sowaseverythingfromthe80's*cough*

Although This show is more sugary than anything before it. ^^;

I gave it a chance for the sake of my toddler, but I find it to suck. The ponies all look like anime characters now. I mean, moreso.

I also hate the Strawberry Shortcake remake and I know I'm going to hate the Smurfs remake when it comes out.

I've never had any interest in this show, but I can say that I've developed a disliking for it without even watching it since it's the favorite subject of the hipster and lesbian cliques in my school. Run on sentences are cool.

Hey Filly Willy, before you you were into Ponies, did you like other cartoons that were similar to it? For example the Care Bears, where they were all colorful and had cutie marks (tummy marks); they were also about friendship and sharing. Was wondering if you loved those too?

Even though I watched them many years after they aired. I liked Carebears and Rainbow Brite, I didn't like the original Ponies tho.

well my sisters had some rainbow brite eps and the movie on vhs, and i can remember asking them to watch that instead of little mermaid AGAIN so i must not have completely hated it? i haven't seen it in forever so i barely remember anything about it

From the mane cast I would lean towards Twilight Or Fluttershy, tho I like them all and any favorite is just by a small margin. :>

also re:cutesy cartoon characters, i feel i need to mention that at the first meetup i had with people from i-mock (at dr. juno's house) i watched the powerpuff girls movie on his computer while everyone else was watching cowboy bebop

I like how Flutters is the daintiest but also the most menacing when she is driven to it.

oof, i dunno. if you assume all of pinkie's cartoon-character physics defying is some sort of reality warping power, she'd be really, REALLY dangerous if she actually went Cupcakes.
