I take it you've tasted leek, Mister A.

Fathom Zero Jun 15th, 2008 11:01 PM

Like no other, Mister R.

The problem I have with leeks is that most people that cook for me instinctively put them in soup, and soup does not sit well within me.

Also, leak/leek jokes.

Powdered mashed potatoes in the cupboard for three years,
Alcoholic husbands driving frantic wives to tears,
Poor old widow's house burned down, Pepsi!

Oh man, I ate powdered mash potato with a '93 expiry date last year. It tasted the same as it did fresh.

I did not eat the tin of steak and kideny pie with the '87 expiry date. I did think about it, but my veganity won out. My disgust barely registered under my hunger. :(

Sup, Tadao?

I better not order a green onion salad from an American then. :x

I wouldn't anyway, as I hate salad. :(

Ugh, researching Leeks on wikipedia is a headache. Your Green Onions are known to me as Spring Onions/Shallots, but they are also known by a hundred different names as well, which leads me to think I was fed them every meal, but under an alternate moniker, at the more poverty striken moments of my childhood.
