Wreck-It Ralph

This looks pretty awesome; what do y'all think?

10,000 Volt Ghost Jun 13th, 2012 09:32 PM

It gives me the same goosebumps that a goofy movie did.

I love John C. Reilly. And Zangief? This movie just got awesomer.

Zomboid Jun 15th, 2012 12:33 AM

Yep, I'd watch it.

Zhukov Jun 22nd, 2012 07:16 AM

I would watch it for sure. Will reserve judgement though.

Glad that they actually made up a character as well as a story to go with it, rather than just use the licencing they obviously have acquired.

They played the trailer before "Brave". Seemed okay.

It would be awesome if they used the licensed properties even more, rather than some throwaway cameos. I'm sure it'd be a pain in the ass to manage, but now everyone is going to think this is going to be way more awesome than it'll turn out to be.

Also I hate every star of this film, and they went and modeled the characters on them specifically.

I'll still watch it because I'm a fucking miserable video game and animation nerd with nothing better to do on a friday night.

I think it looks fake. :(

This looks promising.

I agree with Brian, looks very promising. I'll definitely wait to see what the word of mouth is and what critics have to say, though. I totally appreciate the classic gaming character cameos, but if that's just window dressing to keep Moms and Dads awake, then I'll pass. If it turns out the story or jokes hit the mark for adults then I'll be happy to check it out.
