I can't pronounce 'th' so I say With as Wiff, Month as Munff, and so on.

Today I was told I might be fired because of it. :lol

I know a guy like that. He once asked a vendor for three (free) hotdogs.

ElPila666 Mar 19th, 2008 08:21 PM

Did they gave you a free day because of your birthday?

Exactly. The fing is I didn't know I had lis speech impediment until I moved outside of the UK. Everyone I encountered for the first 20 years of my life must have either understood from contextualization or been secretly confused by everyfing I said, which didn't seem to happen.

Nope.

Fathom Zero Mar 19th, 2008 08:37 PM

I took a tour of the Blue Bell Creamery here in Tejas and the tour guide was so hot.

Pub Lover Mar 19th, 2008 08:58 PM

Did you get his number?

Fathom Zero Mar 19th, 2008 09:01 PM

Maybe it's a New Zealand thing :rolleyes

Like everything else that's wrong with the english language :rolleyes

The funny thing is... The thing that I find funny is that I have not once received a complaint for my mispronunciation of Maori words & names.

I do that shit everyday, but no one bats a fucking eyelid. Maybe those sort of people don't use email. :racism

southerners invented rhyming slang and any northerner who comes out with any probably just got confused after doing too much heroin. although noone really uses it any more unless you want to describe something unsavoury in a comical and toothless way e.g. 'I stuck it right up her gary' or 'show us your mark fowler'.

I like how they're always saying "Berk" (short for Berkshire Hunt) on, like, Blue Peter. Cockneys must fucking piss themselves every time they hear that.

Also someone recently exposed me to "I'd love to smash her pasty". I know what is means but what the hell could that possibly rhyme with?
